Greetings LL! I'd like to send my deepest sympathies to all the LL beans who lost their beloved fur babies this last month.
Today is Muffin's 5 month annifursary! And she's still going strong! She's still very lovey and purry and active. All it takes is digging her toys out from under the furniture to start a rousing play session. We've been better about not leaving our food out, so in the absence of pizza, donuts and fried rice, she's decided she'll settle for all those lower carb dry foods I bought at the beginning of our FD journey, which she wouldn't touch at the time, or even the dog kibble! ohmygod_smile So now everything is out of reach! And she does still love her Wellness Chicken. No more broken dishes! :lol:
Hi fwiens! I miss you all! Life at da Falls is gweat, and I'm sooooo cited dat ma bes' guy Binks gunna come libs here wit me! (anti-jinx) I know I miss some da pawties, and I'z upset bout dat. OT- I took Muffin's brother Shnookie to the vet the other day to check for a UTI because he peed on my bedroom floor. No UTI, but they found a heart murmur (new since July when he was there last) and something in his urine (I forget what it was) to indicate possible kidney trouble or high blood pressure. So we've made a couple of appts to go back for bloodwork and blood pressure check, but haven't actually made it yet. Shnookie decided he wasn't going to the first one, he took off and didn't come home til 8pm that night :lol: The second one I cancelled (Monday) because I got news that my ex MiL passed away and DS and I have to go to Oregon for the funeral tomorrow. So I will deal with Shnookie next week when things aren't so hectic.
So I won't be in town for Bink's party, and I'm counting on you Mannie to get Muffin safely there and back, as always. She'll be waiting at the window for you! And she'll have free access to all the kitchen utensils the KK may need, so just let her know what to bring.
