Yesterday was a very nice day for Nannie. A BLUE day - I love blue days... green is my favorite, but this blues sure are nice too. I imagine that the Blue Mannie Group was phenomenal, another great day at the Blue Grotto. When nicholas and I left yesterday to go to the pool and then spend sometime at the river I told Mannie to be safe, surf the blues, and be good. My last words out the door were: "Mannie - sure would like to start tonight our with a 140." well now - will you look at that. The boy delivered! I love days like those - it is as if he rally does know what to do. Go Mannie! So today.... maybe some greens in the mix too? Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D The boys shared nanner after nanner after nanner yesterday. :-D :cool: :cool: Mannie did not mind one little bit, stayed there and purred and purred - even when Nicholas decided his ear needed checking, and his feet, and his tail, and that the nanners needed to be placed upon his person more firmly. :shock: He just let DGS do as he pleased. They are for sure best buds for life..... except when DGS wants to share his morning oatmeal, Mannie draws the line there. :lol: :lol:

And as always we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept.... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! I am back on DGS duty today through Friday. We are hoping for good weather, so we can make it to a river, maybe a lake, today - ROAD TRIP!! I know I won't be able to visit condos while DGS is here - so so sorry! Do know that I am thinking of you all, and your furkids. Think blue, think green kitties!

Hey everybody!!! GUESS WHAT!! OTJ party today for Tiki! We are off to Washington DC! WOO HOO! I never been there before... SWEET! I hope we can go and spend sometime with BigMac before the party, bring the KTSS again. I hope we can cheer him up, help him feel better. Mannie, you are a picture of patience with Nicholas!! Michelle, he really is amazing. Nice start to Mannie's day with lots of room for safety. So enjoy your road trip to a lake and enjoy good weather!!

Mannie, I'm ready for KTSS visit to BigMac and ready for Tiki's party. Got all my grillin' stuff together, my apron and hat, and raring to go. Menu for the party looks great! See ya soon,

What a hilarious video! I snuck on your condo at work and couldn't help laughing out loud. I guess people think I am just so happy with my job! Mannie is so very patient although I did see that after Nicholas took his front leg and waved it in the air, and then went for his back leg, Mannie quickly tucked it under his body and out of reach :lol:

Wow. That is amazing that Mannie didn't run away. He is crazy about Nicholas. And he shared his nanners. :lol: :lol: How do you not give fur shots with that long coat?? Back to the Blue Grotto, ok, Mannie?

Hi guys .. What a great day for mannie yesterday! I love how he listened to you for pmps numbers .. ahh .. if only it was that easy! :lol: Such a cute video too .. Red Velvet 14 Layer Smith Island Cake with Cimmamum Ganache and Cherry Petal Icing I hope there's still time to get it on the menu. i went to visit the resident supervisor cat at Charm City Cakes and she helped me w/ the recipe! -- Tess

Wow, Mannie! the king of patience! What a good boy! I know for sure Rupert would've hightailed it outta there in a hurry! Nanners or no Nanners. (and Hi, by the way, we aren't that far from you!, up here on Vancouver Island, my sister lives in Tacoma near you!).

280 @ PMPS. Still yellow, still kinda flat... and the age old question: when will this break....

Nicholas and I went to Bellingham today, a short road trip to visit the Falls there. They were gorgeous!! It was a good day for the little guy. He likes this place too - the falls are always within sight, and the river that makes them. We got lucky again today. It turned out to be a sunny day and we were able to eat our lunch outdoors, next to the Falls. We discovered today too that off to the side of the park there is a small Fish heathery - full of trout. So we spent some time there too watching the fish. DGS thought that was darn cool too. I will post some pics in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Thanks Barb, Pip, Ann, Devon, Liz, Georgia, Angela, and Ella for visiting Mannie today. It really is very appreciated, by me, and Mannie. Mannie seems content to be a sunny yellow boy today - not much movement BG wise since DGS and I took off this morning. I had hoped for blue, got yellow. He is down some at his +2, so maybe things are starting to break. YAY!
Ella - yes indeed on the patience! HE really does well with DGS. And thanks! the road trip was fun, and a good beautiful drive!

Georgia - thanks! I thought it was cute, made me laugh too as I was recording. it. So true on the leg(s) - I think he wanted them intact!
Liz - Yep - he really is - loves that kid. Nicholas usually is alot gentler than he was in this video, and even when he isn't Mannie still takes it all. Best Buds! LOL on the long fur and the shots - scruff of the neck where the fur is much shorter... and parts really nice. Plus he is so patent with his shots too!
Devon - Thank - it was a nice one yesterday. Loved it! and me too on the PMPS number - I wish that would happen every time! and yes on DGS - he was proud - and happy.
Ann - You are so right on the ear. That is the first ting he always touches, and then looks really closely at it - and yupp: it is the pokie ear too. hmmmmmm - a tester in the making!
Pip - that he is! oh wow - you are in Vancouver???? COOL! What a small world it is!
Barb - LOL, but yes - he is very very patient. Plus he likes him, and lets him do most anything. Never ever a scratch!

Hey Tess - no worries!!!! I gots it on the menu! and uhhhhhhh.... could you make two? I think I will have to eat one just by myself.... YUM! and uhhhhhh.... can we go there sometime? to the Charm City Cakes???? I thinks that is place I'd like to visit. :-D :-D :cool:

Mannie is sooooooooooooooo patient. If anyone tried that on Vyktor they'd look like they'd been grated :lol: :lol: :lol: Definitely looks like he's practicing for pokies, maybe Nicholas will be an angel for one of those DCIN when he gets a bit older!

Love the video....Mannie is so calm about having his toes tickled and finding solace in his manners and then.....NANNER THEFT by the wee one :shock: :shock: :o Mannie, ever the calm one, takes it in stride.bnhrs so great with Nicholas.

Hi Marje - LOL - that it was. DGS is the only one allowed to mess with the nanners. The rest of us hear about it! :lol: It was fun to watch this interaction, nicholas usually is alot more gentle than this one - but Mannie didn't seem to mind. Took it all in stride.

Hi Liz - i dunno.... i've looked at that a few times, and huh? :-D
