4/5 Kona AMPS 114, PMPS 225

Last night could have been bad. I went to bed super early and my smart watch that does all my alarms was dead so I put it on the charger. I missed the alarms, didn't hear them on the charger. I missed the +1, +2, +3 checks and thank goodness woke up at +4 to get a reading and it was 54. So I caught the nadir and gave some Fancy Feast 20% and brought her back up. *whew* I tested/fed a few more times and thought it was safe at 77 BG while also setting her up with additional snacks in the autofeeder. Close call!

Today I'm off to work. It was a lower AMPS this morning, so I'm loading her up with carbs throughout the day with the automatic feeder.

This dose has been really good lately, maybe too good.

Keep those kitties safe out there!!! :cat::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Good meowning Jason and the girls,

Sorry I haven't been following too much lately but I did read your threat yesterday. I'm sending lots of PAWsitive vibes and thoughts your way while you wait for the results of the mass. I know you will keep us all updated.

Nice AMPS for Kona, and so lucky you woke up to bring her up during the night.
Hopefully she stays safe while you're at work and Cleo watches her.
Have a good Furrrrrriday

Great catch, Jason. You’re so great at watching out for Kona. Your senses must have been tingling, despite the watch mishap.
I hope all went well today and she surfs safely tonight. :bighug::bighug::cat:

Thanks, Staci! I have a feeling it will be a chill weekend for BG. Now it's just worry city waiting on results of everything.

Soooo, as if things couldn't get any worse from Kona's dental discovering the oral mass that we are waiting on an biopsy. Today, I get a call from the vet and they got the radiographs results back and noticed Kona's sister, Cleo, has an enlarged heart. :(
It's a blur from shock, but I think she told me that the people that review the radiographs perhaps didn't know she was under anesthesia and maybe this might be a side effect of that or soemthing like that.

We are awaiting on what the radiograph experts have to say on that... but still horrible news. I've done some limited googles, but all prognosis don't sound good.

I'll know more with both cats' issues by the end of next week. Keeping everyone posted! One thing after another, I need a beer now.

Sending you big big amounts of prayers for both your sweet girls. We have to have hope that they misread Cleo’s X-rays based on that anesthesia.

I’ve been sticking my nose in a bottle of Lavender essential oils and doing breathing techniques since Ivy’s recent Dx to help with my stress. But maybe your beer was a better option. Sending you a big hug (((Jason)))

Beautiful sisters. Still don't know how you tell them apart? Is one Kona and the other Cleo in these photos? I know you once said one is smaller than the other but in the photos hard to tell.

I'm sorry Jason about the news you got. Hopefully the experts can weigh in and give you better answers. In the meantime I'm sending lots of PAWsitive vibes and prayers your way.

That's a great idea! I think I'll take a hot bath this weekend and will put some lavender oils all up in the water. I actually bought some lavender tea, so I can double hit both ways. But yah, beer was the best option last night, ha ha ha.

Sorry, BOTH of the cats in the photos are just Kona, but if you look closely you can see Cleo lurking under the kitchen table. I'll get a side-by-sdie so you can see the differences.

Thanks for the vibes!!! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
