Oh dear, I hope his good mood lasts. Checks was a playful ball of fur this morning jumping on the back of the couch, and grabbing at the cords, while I was opening the blinds.
Isn't is wonderful, when the kitty is unusually playful? :-D :-D

Maybe in anticipation of the Wellness Turkey, which he devoured again this morning. Boy, I hope he keeps on loving this stuff! He could use another ounce pound, or two on his bony backside.
Hope the acupuncturist finds meat on the places she wants to poke.
He's very good at pokies for me....couldn't care less.
Of course, she's a stranger, touching his body. *sigh*
We've never seen this doctor.....she's at the main hospital, not the sattelite we go to.

Oh yeah WCR...ate, drank, slopped water out of fountain onto floor.....that's my boy! :lol:

Hi Barb, thanks for visiting us this morning. Maggie likes the Wellness Turkey most of the time. Good luck with the acupuncturist and so nice Checkers doesn't mind! That's a nice green :mrgreen: there at the +3 and looks promising. Have a nice day, Barb.

Of all the days for him to decide to have green....when we have to leave at his +5.5.......nadir around 6. nailbite_smile

Good luck with the acupuncturist. It sounds like he's so frisky today that maybe he doesn't have any of his usual pain! Is he telling you something?

Wellness Turkey is what Rusty eats every day. He never tires of it. I supplement it with By Nature 95% Turkey and Turkey liver and Merrick's 96% turkey, and, of course, FF T & G as a treat.

Good luck today w/ the accupuncture. :-D :-D :-D on eating Wellness Turkey. Have you every considered Nature's Variety raw. Tess adores the Organic Chicken and it's 65kcal/oz, Wellness Turkey is 40 and most FF only about 30. I think this is what has helped Tess finally gain a little weight back. 4% carbs and as a plus for us only 160mg phos /100kcal.

Great to hear that he is feeling good. He is definitely sprinting down the floors today too. Good luck at the acupuncture!! Have a great day Barb and a Happy Easter if I don't get back on this weekend. I will check in and see what happened with Checker's adventure today though.

Good luck at the acupuncture. I bet he actually enjoys it. Harvey, my 'dolt' of a horse is terrified of his own tail sometimes, but I have a chiro come out and he positively MELTS and is so good for her (quite frustrating really!).

Looks like Checkers is feeling a little outdown by yesterdays Rupert performance and is trying to show him up! Hopefully they'll meet somewhere 'sensible' today!!!

Today was rather pleasant. I left the carrier door ajar next to me in the car, and Checks was happy to not be locked in, so the trip in, went well. :-D

The acupunc doc, was a gentle young lady, speaking sweetly to him. He growled as usual, when she touched him, feeling for the right spots for the needles, about 10, I think. He couldn't care less about the stick, just didn't like being touched.
I expected that.
He fussed, and kept trying to jump off the table, to get back to his carrier, so we put it on the table, and let him walk into it, then took the top off it, :-D

She did her work while he was laying in the open carrier. He had to stay needled for 15 minutes. A dog was barking non-stop, and a cat was not happy about something, but he didn't care a hoot. :-D
He just relaxed and daydreamed, while doc went to do something else. :smile:
It was all quite pleasant.

I won't know how it works, since his pain is sporadic. He goes back in 2 weeks for another.

He instant he walked in the door, he ran for the kibble I left out for civvies....I think he smelled it outside. :YMSIGH:

sounds like it went well! bad Checkers scarfing some dry food! Guess he wanted to be up with Rupert today!

Nice accupuncture report, I guess he was so good while he was there so naughtiness had to erupt when he got home ;-) No more kibble Checks!!
