Well, we are WAY out of the lagoon now. Turn it around, Trix! I don't know if this is a fuds spike or a bounce...could be either or maybe even both!
I ran a different sort of fuds experiment for breffis today. I had two opened refrigerated cans: BGG Tuna and Chicken 4EVA, and Weruva Paw Licken' Chicken. Trix seems iffy on some fuds when they have been refrigerated - although this is a new trend for her. Anyway, I prepped Trixie's bowl with both foods sitting side-by-side, and I prepped Frankie's bowl with the two foods mixed together. Trix gobbled up the Paw Licken' Chicken and left most of the 4EVA (which she CPCed yesterday, when the can was fresh!). Frankie was lapping at her blend (she still hasn't master "bite and chew  ), then got distracted by a noise and walked away. After Frankie left her bowl unguarded, Trix walked over to it and CPCed it, even though it had leftover 4EVA in it.
Soooo...I'm thinkin that Trix may think that Paw Licken' Chicken is da bomb, even when it's leftover from the fridge. I also know that could change at a moments notice.
What I can't quite figure out is that I always mix warm water into her food, whether I'm starting with a fresh can or leftovers. The warm water should take chill off the cold food, so who knows....she IS a cat, after all!
According to the charts, Paw Licken' Chicken is supposed to be very low in carbs, so I have no idea if it IS contributing to these numbers, or if she is bouncing after a couple really nice green days. Time will tell, and if it keeps up, I'll toss that dosecrease threat again.
Today promises to be extra long at work....we have a girl scout troop coming in this evening.17 girls. I have to admit...I don't always "do" chaos very well! I'll have a chilled bottle of wine waiting for me when I get home.
Have a great day, LL!
