Good rainy morning from the Big Apple,
Rusty is in his usual delayed "trip bounce", after trending up yesterday. He was very happy to see us late last night, when we got home from the opera, which was a really good performance by a whole new generation of singers (many of whom were making their Met debuts). "Arabella" is a wonderful work, the last of the Strauss-Hofmannsthal collaboration (Hoffmannsthal died before the 1933 premiere; he was Strauss' favorite librettist.)
Today the kitties will have another fun day. The beans are having lunch with friends and dinner with other friends. Inbetween some shopping in PetCo and the sneaker store for running shoes for Edward.
My knee has been worse for over a week ( from climbing over the ice ruts in Saranac Lake). Sitting at the Met for 4 hours last night didn't help it any! I may have to go back to the doctor next week. We'll see.

Yo Kitties, tomorrow we're going to Brooklyn. It will be warm and sunny. Today it is cold and rainy, a good day to visit our ancestors in the Egyptian galleries at the Metropolitan Museum. Lunch on the steps if the rain stops. Hot dog carts are always there. Then we'll take a subway ride downtown and stop in at the studios of the Blue Mannie Group. See ya soon.
