heehee, coming down out of the rafters. it's amazing what a tiny bit more juice will do for those numbers.

here's a recap of yesterday. I'll have to go find the link for the condo. here it is: http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=40381

amps 263
+2 249
pmps 253
+3 169
+6 134
+9 125
+11.5 115

practicing my newfound attach pic skill, here's a pic of my daughter & i with the quilt. She picked the fabrics when she was 9, so it's not what either of us would've chosen now, but that's ok. it's kinda old-fashioned looking. it needs some more quilting in the blue border, but i'm going to add it later. i wanted to get it to her and off my to-do list.

Morning! That quilt is beautiful - wow, and you do nice work!

Very very nice on punkin's numbers - and go juice! Might even see some greens today - YAY!

Hey Punkin! My bean showed e a photo of you and your nanner. Way way cool - and I am soooooo proud! Be careful though, you might end up in Nanners Anonymous, like me. See you! ~~ Mannie

Punking looks really good...nice number today. And the quilt is phenomenal!!! Such beautiful work...we have so many talented people in LL. Your daughter looks just like you...great pic! Thanks for the recipe...can't wait to try it...nomnomnom.

Re: 4/4 punkin amps 144 3/143 quilt pic

ah, quilting is something I have not tried, but I think they are beautiful. I suspect it would end up like my afghan-making attempts - numerous bags of partially completed projects . Baby afghans, no problem. A scarf, easy. But a full adult-sized afghan? In my lifetime so far, I have finished only two.

Re: 4/4 punkin amps 144 3/143 quilt pic

Hi Julie. My slooooooooow dialup, would allow only a part of the pic to load, but enough to see the quilt is beautiful. I love the colors.
I also love Punkin's blue numbers. :-D

Re: 4/4 punkin amps 144 3/143 +6/118 +8/66

MJ, i have approximately 50 projects in mid-stream. i always wondered how people got like that, because why don't you finish one before you start another? that's logical, isn't it? so when i started making things i finished them 100% before starting another. that was before i discovered that some projects take a REALLY long time to make, starting new projects is way fun, and sometimes you want to set one down for awhile and do something else. I shoulda stuck with Plan A!

at the moment, though, quilt-wise, I only have one other one going for my youngest daughter, and i only started it in the fall. so that's not too bad. I did buy materials for another quilt for me, heehee, bright batiks that are glorious, and i'm dying to start it, but trying to be disciplined and finish the other one first.

So punkin's at +8/66 now - that whole moving nadir thing makes me a little crazy. I guess i keep testing him to see where the lowest will be.

Re: 4/4 punkin amps 144 3/143 +6/118 +8/66

Wow Punkin, lookin' good. It doesn't matter what colors the quilt is. The fact that you and your daughter both had a hand in making it makes it the prettiest quilt ever. :O) Have a great night!

i've been off the computer and returned to find maverick gone. it's reminding me that every day with our diabetic kitties is borrowed time.

(((Julie)))....a shock for us, too. Unbelievable.....

What a great cycle Punkin had...hope he keeps it up for you.
