Such a sad day today. I woke up to the sound of Neko crying well before breakfast. She needed comforting, and I needed to hug her too. It would have been around the time Crystal passed. Every time an acrokitty goes to the Bridge, it hits me hard. All our kitties are loved, but you grow an extra bond with other acromoms and dads because acromegaly is more than just FD. Suki did so much for Crystal, she was a great momma bean. RIP Crystal - loved by many, even though we never met you in fur. I'll think of you every time I see a prawn.:rb_icon:

Neko's demeanor is a bit more energetic today. The tail is back up where it should be, though she didn't respond as she normally does when the civie wants a whack a thon. But she did put him in place when he tried to get a little close to her food dish. :cool: After a rainy start, the sun came out so Neko is back out in the solarium, and just gave me a trill "what's up?" when I went to check on her.
 
Theo needs reminding every now and then who's in charge of the show! Good job, Neko!

Very, very sad today. Every time we lose a kitty, I feel like I've lost mine all over again. :(
 
I could barely read Suki's thread, ugh.......we are all bonding by our love for our babies.

Glad Neko lets civvie knows whose food is whose. ;)
 
The sadness and a rainy day probably contributed to Miss Neko's demeanor this morning and glad she's enjoy some sun now.
 
What a horrible day. :(:(:( Tonight's it's Black Kitty, the legendary IAA kitty. I think I'm going to cuddle up with my acro/IAA kitty.
 
It was overcast here this morning, it's been a sad day for kitties....Crystal, Black Kitty and a good friend's kitty passed away two days ago.
 
((((Wendy)))) It sure has been a horribly sad day. please Neko and Theo hugs and scritches from us, and I hope your cold is better,chicken soup vines being sent up the I-5 coridor on this cold night.
 
(((Wendy))) I'm so sorry both you and Neko were upset yesterday morning, cats have strange intuitions and perhaps Neko sensed her friend Crystal's passing. I understand your pain, it always upset me terribly whenever another acro kitty passed, there is indeed an unbreakable bond forged through adversity with these special kitties. I learnt so much from your experiences, and your gentle wisdom and guidance with Crystal kept us together for longer :bighug: Thank you :bighug:

And now dear sweet Black Kitty has passed ...... remembered in my prayers :bighug:
