Der's dat UUGLY pink toad suit again this morning. I'm really scratching my head over his dosing - we're wobbling between 2.25u and 2.5 and all drops in between. There's just not much difference in those 2 but it SOMETIMES makes quite a bit of difference to him. I just can't find the 'sweet spot' that will keep him at least steady in the 100's without that LOW drop or that bounce. I know he doesn't eat much during the night altho' it's always there available. I tend to hear him eating at about pm+10 or later which is near daylight. ARGHH!!!
We sure dodged that storm yesterday that had all the tornados in it. It literally split and went on either side of us by less than a mile. WE didn't even get much wind, the rain was just steady and only about 1/3". We were prepared just in case tho'...our kids, grandkids and ggs are all OK, no damage - they're all in the Euless area above Arlington. Thoughts and prayers for all those that did get hit. It's an AWFUL feeling - I lived thru the 1979 tornado in Wichita Falls - an EF5 so have a healthy respect for them! The worst feeling was walking down streets and not recognizing where you are altho' you've lived there for years.
I haven't decorated our walls the last few condos so today I'll find something! Let's see....
How about something a lot of people haven't seen - not because it's rare but because they're not grown in lots of places. Here's my 'Mexican Sour Gherkin' vine - the cucumbers look like little watermelons - TINY little watermelons. When they ripen, I put them in a jar, pour brine solution over them and enjoy them the rest of the year. Can't eat very many of them at a time tho' as they are VERY 'gassy'...
Hugs, thoughts and prayers for all needing them today - especially thinking of Lydia/Sid and CD/Big Mac.
