Yesterday's Condo

Gizmo calmed down once he packing crew was gone and quiet was restored. And then today, I get to upset the poor boy all over again. The same guys that did the packing are coming shortly to load all of my things on a very big truck and I will be alone with the kitties in my condo for a day. We hit the road tomorrow. The challenge will be how to isolate the cats so they don't get too scared, don't get in the way, and don't go out the door.

Sending prayers that the rest of the move goes smoothly and the kitties are happy with their new home once you get there. I'm sure this is stressful for all of you...

As long as the kitties know that you are with them, they will be fine.

Paws crossed everyone tolerates the move with the minimal drama. It can be such a challenge to move for our kitties, most are so place bound and do not like their "stuff" messed with and on top of that insult, to be put in one of those moving boxes aka "car". I hope the trip is relatively uneventful and the Gs settle into their new home quickly.

I hope you have a nice day with the kitties once the scary movers are gone! I had to shut Chyna in the spare bedroom at my new house when we moved in with her fuds and litter box etc. Then I just had the movers leave that rooms stuff in the kitchen, lol. I guess the bathroom would have worked too...anyways I'm sending good moving and calm kitties and bean vines:) Happy Friday!

I would give Rescue Remedy or something for calming today, tonight, and for the next few days. And I would get them both micro-chipped for peace of mind. I hope your kitties appreciate your company tonight and you get a good night's rest.

Best Of Luck tomorrow in the long drive. Press the lock button on the car windows so no kitty paw accidently opens one up. Have harnesses and leashes on at all times until safely moved in to a closed room in the new house.

The movers are gone. Belatedly, one of my friends reminded me to plug in Feliway. The diffuser is going now.

Gabby did fine. Gizmo was not happy with the noise and the change. He's still walking around with a WTF expression. I've got a video and photos on FB. Gizmo was hiding in the bathroom and peering out right above the hinge. (He was wedged in between the door and the tub so he was protected on almost 3 sides.

Travel safely!!! Just think how much fun you guys will have helping MamaBean unpack in your new home!!!

Sending tons of good moving and travel vines to you. :YMHUG: I hope you are as pleasantly surprised at how well the trip goes as we were when we had to take Neko on the road. We started with Rescue Remedy and Feliway sprayed in the carrier.
