Good Morning All
This is a weird morning. It feels like it's still yesterday. I keep forgetting that Checks is nocturnal. I figured, as long as I wasn't sleeping, and he was doing acrobats, and hallway racing, in the wee hours, I might as well test, now and then.
It is so dark and gloomy and raining, this morning, I almost didn't shoot on time. I was reading with a light on, and didn't know it had turned to day.
Wonder if I can get a nap in this morning.

Happy Monday. Hope you can get a nap in. Kind of glad Maverick isn't nocturnal except when Chatty Kathy visits.

Hi Barb, I agree, it's a weird morning. To me it felt like Sunday. But it isn't!! Snow here early, and now freezing rain. Dark and gloomy. A real nice April day!!
Maybe you'll get your headlamp today.
Checkers, lets have a good cycle today--no dramatics, OK?

I managed to get an hour of sleep in, and woke with a start, realizing I had slept through +2.
Not to worry, it was up from preshot. Food should have worn off by then.

Waiting for the rain to clear for a while, so I can go get some of Himself's latest "like" food, chicken Fancy Feast.
Here I am down to 2 doz cans of T&G, and he decided he doesn't like the turkey anymore. Oh yeah, doesn't like seafood anymore either.
Anybody who says a cat will eat when it's hungry, never heard of hepatic lipidosis.
In the beginning of this sugar dance, it was suspected at one point, that he was on the virge of HP.(long story)
Doc told me to feed him anything he'd eat.
Oh my gosh, Checks had a ball, stuffing his face with Kitten Kaboodle...his alltime favorite kitty krack.
Um Doc.... wrong move, :roll:

I really have to take the time to get his profile from the old board into my siggy.

Maverick has decided not to eat any of the foods he eats and he's a picky eater. He almost died from FHL in 2008 and had a feeding tube for ten weeks. I don't play around with him not eating enough. He is getting syringe fed until his appetite picks up or we can figure out why. We never ever want to deal with FHL again and just a drop in the calories consumed can trigger the FHL cycle. Thank you for posting about this in your condo.

wow on the FHL. Interesting, and a learning experience here for me today. Looks like checks is up for a yellow surf today. and Checks - eat your fuds!

I hope your weather clears enough so you can get out...

We've never had a cat with FHL but I've seen them many times at the shelter where we volunteered and I am so fanatical that the cats don't miss a meal...obviously, missing one meal isn't going to hurt them but it throws up a flag for me as they are all good eaters. Hope Checks comes down today, Barb, and you stay cozy and warm...sounds chilly and gloomy there. Want some AZ sunshine??

What a day. Started out yellow, went to pink, and stayed there. I have no way of knowing if it was a fur shot.
I always run my hand down his body, after shot, and it wasn't wet.
If he doesn't come down tonight, I'll assume it's the insulin. It was just opened on 3/1.
