Billy almost made the green team this morning, but he's still feeling a little blue. Well, numbers are still looking good. His neuropathy is really improving, too! Well actually the neuropathy' is decreasing; Billy's condition is improving.

Everytime I go to the kitchen, let's say, 0 to 4 hours before his meal, Billy comes running. Can I have my meal? Pleasepleaseplease? Well this week-end I realized he ran almost like a normal cat. Thank you, nice numbers and methylcobalamin! :-D

What a gorgeous cycle for Billy today! So glad the good numbers and mB12 are doing their job! It always warms the heart to see a kitty suddenly acting more "normal!"

Fingers and paws crossed for another great cycle tonight!

Love the picture, Celi, as always. ^^ And thanks for the encouragement, everyone!

Billy's numbers are confusing me. He went up, then down, then up, then all the way down to 63. Where is his nadir in all of this?

63 is safe to shoot as long as I test often, right?

Re: 4/4 Billy +2 95 +4 112 +6 95 +8 83 +10 74 +12 63 +12.5 5

I waited a little to see if he was going back up but he keeps getting down. :/

About as late as needed.

He went up from 59 to 63 in half an hour. I shot and will monitor closely.

Re: 4/4 Billy +10 74 +12 63 +12.5 59 PMPS 63 +0.5 61 +1 61 +

He's going down a little.

Just to be sure : if he ever gets under 40, I put karo on his gums right away? And test as much as possible?

We'll see how he is in an hour.

Please read through this in case you find yourself in low numbers without anyone here to talk you through it: Dealing With Low Numbers

You don't necessarily have to use syrup under 40, but you do want to feed high carb food and monitor every 15-20 minutes until he goes up.

Since his +2 is still about the same as his PMPS, I would check again in 30 minutes to see if Billy is surfing or dropping. The insulin will probably be kicking in soon, so this is the important part of the cycle because it will give you a clue as to how the rest of the cycle will go. Normally you would expect to see +2 be a little higher than PS, so the fact that this one is the same means that you need to pay attention for a while.

Thank you! I was asleep before I could retest, but he's dropping, now. Still hoping for a surf.

well hello there...
hmmm...very nice surfies last nite.
you did great!
Shooting low does get easier, nerve wrecking yes - but it does get easier.
I had a number in the 60's for preshot the other day and my brain went blank  panic sets in to all of us.
Good job!
