yesterday

got her new insulin pen yesterday... for $97.99... Ouch... 2 years ago he sold it to me for $50.
I just don't have anyone who will sell me one except this guy unless I drive to Albuquerque.

also bought new food which she won't touch.... Feline natural.... chicken and venison freeze dried
and also the same flavor in frozen. The frozen is thawing....but she won't touch the freeze dried.
good thing my son's cat really likes raw food. She gets all the left overs as long as there is no seafood in it.

Her appy is still poor.
She would only eat the stella/chewy freeze dried ticklin' turkey in the night. At least she ate that.
I may have to give her a stimulant today which I hate doing because then she's just whiny vocal but still
won't eat.

we did have a almost normal poo in the night .
I'd give anything to know what is in the food that irritates her....


good news for me yesterday - sorta....
went to ear dr... told him that when I yawn, I hear better in my "good" ear which he recently put a tube in.
( my hearing got worse when he did that)
He said it was because of my eustachian tube which is blocked and told me to keep yawning to see if I can't open it up.
at least that means the hearing is still there, just muffled.
i figured i was about to get a hearing aid. $$$

I share your frustration on the food irritation. Sasha throw up almost every time I try giving her a new food. Even a new flavor of a brand she's had before can do it. She never used to be like that. I guess the radiation and chemo have made her system more sensitive. She did barf several times a week for no apparent reason when she was younger, but hasn't been like that in years.
