All is well with Max. Nice and cuddly last night, woke me up with kisses this morning. Had a hairball about 15 minutes before ambg was taken, so it may have been lower before (but thank goodness we were late with feeding this morning, or it would have been a whole lot of pukus!).

OMG, I can't believe we'll be having his big anti-jinx on Monday! DH was asking this morning why we still had to test him if we weren't giving shots, so I had to tell him it was still his trial period. It'll be nice Sunday night to put all the testing supplies away! I still have half a box of syringes left...what do I do with those? And it'll be weird to toss the rest of the Lantus vial too. I might not know what to do with myself when I don't have to test before feeding him anymore! :-D
 
Carefree is a GREAT choice today =) Max has done so well you both deserve to be Carefree! (Antijinx!)

You could donate the rest of your syringes... either a post in in Supply Closet to offer them if someone needs them or you could send them to DCIN.

I'm going to donate my stuff to DCIN. I've got an extra meter I've never used and some extra baby socks to make ear warmers along with a box of syringes that's hardly been touched.
 
You know, I just sent two meters (I'm an idiot and ordered two of one of them, the other was a freebie) and a box of Ketostix to Cindy for the starter kits yesterday. Never even occurred to me to send the syringes too. I'm donating my "high carb rescue food" to one of the shelters here that a girl I work with volunteers at.

LOL, I have TONS of baby socks around my house, but we're not fully decided as to whether or not we're having another in a few years. Wouldn't that just be hilarious to send all of the baby socks to DCIN at once? I'd bet there would be about 50 pairs between both kids! :lol:

don't toss the lantus - post that yhave it available and I'm sure someone will want it. Hopefully someone close by, so you don't have to ship, but even still....

and yeah - check on supply closet - post and see if anyone has needs there.

and congrats on day 12 - but when I read carefree I wasn't thinking gum, rather the um, errr, what's a polite way to say it - feminine hygiene product..... :o ohmygod_smile :lol:

The Lantus vial is actually a vial, and it's the only one I've used--opened 3/6. I would think passing it on wouldn't be worth it as it is nearly 2 months old now. I was going to get a cartridge or two from Sarah and Velcro around the month-old mark, but we were down to teeny tiny doses already and I didn't want to waste opening another one for what would have been only a week or two's use.
 
HI Mindy and Max, I am laughing at Hilary right now,hahaha! Hey what is DCIN? I have a whole box of syringes I could donate and an opened cart of lantus that is probably 2-3 weeks old! Would love to help someone out!
