Good morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O) (there are not enough of those today...)

Yesterday's Condo

Wow - RBC continues for Mannie: we are in the pinks. Thought I also think it is time to start a new cartridge - been two months since the last one.

Construction continues here (chaos!) and my frig died: with Mannie's insulin in it ohmygod_smile - aiyee, time for a new one anyways. Mannie is taking all this in stride. He seems to like the construction guy, and has come around to check him out, supervises some too. and go kitty! - makes sure the man does it right.

WCR: Good!, and hollering for his breakfast. I could not dish that up quick enough. He must want to have all energy on board for the construction guy. He's been full of cuddles and lap sits this morning. Nice way to start the day - makes all the issues with the house fall into place.

Hi Michelle and Mannie, sorry about the rbc!!! Hopefully when you get some new lantus it will help! I always switched Scrabble's after a month because I got scared! Sorry about your frig, that sucks! WE have construction going on at our house too! Mannie sounds just like Scrabble, he always wants to investigate everything. Hope you have great day!!!

Good luck w/ the new cartridge.

So Mannie has management aspirations, huh? Seems appropriate work for a cat. What are you having done?

Re: 4/30 Mannie AMPS 357, +2 353

Hi Michelle and Ann!

Yes - Mannie is definite management material: I just found him sleeping on the job, snuggled in his bed! Other than that he's sitting on the edge of the work area - watching this and that.

We are having a new kitchen floor installed - a tile floor. We did some counter and cabinet work a few years ago, just didn't have the money at that time to do the floor then. Finally that panned out. Figures that the stupid frig would decide it was tired and refuse to work.... oh well, after 30 years I guess it is entitled.

Probably good timing on the insulin too - it was time for a new cartridge anyways, so will break that out today.

You guys have a great day today!

Re: 4/30 Mannie AMPS 357, PMPS 376

pink surfin' continues - darn! But he seems happy - and content to keep tabs on the construction guy.

Happy Friday night everyone!

We have a 288 @ +2 - nice little drop from pmps - and what does the night entail? New cartridge with pmps.

more testing.
that's quite a drop at +2. someone left RBC...

Re: 4/30 Mannie AMPS 357, PMPS 376, +2 288

ah but i just did that the other night.... whine! Just kidding! It was a new cartridge too...

YAY! Another poke-a-thon!!!

and as a btw: kitty barf at +1.5. not too sure why - he seems fine. hmmm??? i dunno. didn't lose much, guess a small snack is in order, make sure all is staying down.

Nice drop. I'm impressed you can get 2 months from a cartridge. Gabby is pretty sensitive to the age of the insulin and her numbers get wonky after 28 days. (She has stock in the drug company!)

yes, feed a snack. with that momentum, you want to make sure food is on board...

Re: 4/30 Mannie PMPS 376, +2 288, +3 228

very glad the drop has slowed... phew! sure would love to see some blue though! comon' Mannie - you can do it! and looking forward to +4

Re: 4/30 Mannie PMPS 376, +2 288, +3 228, +4 148

ok.... +4 148! and a little bit more food, and even more yay: no more puking. wow - wonder if we will see  tonight.

oh sienne - i missed yours. sorry! I think for us 2 months is pushing it. The more i look at mannie's numbers i really wonder if it's just too long. (and haha: to think that when i was a rookie we went as long as 4 months - aiyee - to be ignorant!) This was the first time with a cartridge for us too. been vials before that. It was a long story with my vet: finally got them on board with the cartrdige method. sigh of relief from my pocket book. and yes - nice drop - makes me happy.
