Hi all,

Other than a bit of a scare for me last week of George not eating and her number rising to 164, I think she's doing well. She hasn't had a shot in over two weeks. I'm running a curve today and was a little concerned about her 98 a few hours ago. I am tempted to test her in the next 10 minutes as I have to go to work for a bit and am afraid of her dipping too low (if she doesn't eat the food I leave out). She's use to dry and grazing all day, so this new wet food thing is new for both of us, but it clearly is making a difference.

SS is current to 12:36pm.

What a beautiful green number that is!

No worries about it being too low. Kit - who is now OTJ - usually tests in the 60-70s....normal for a cat is usually between 50-120, so that 98 is just great! Plus a cat cannot hypo if not on insulin so not to worry about that stress :)

Hope you and George have a fantastic day!

Thank you for the info! She had a seizure April 11 and we later learned it was probably because her old vet had us using u-40 needles for her Lantus. :o I am afraid I'm going to come home to her in that state, but if a hypo is not possible if she isn't taking her insulin, then I won't worry.
