So I found this on the internet and wondered if the dosing advice should be followed. At the bottom of the page there is a chart and just wanted to get some feedback on what you guys though.

Please don't follow that. We have observed hypoglycemia can and does happen in cats on ProZinc, and it can be fatal.

ProZinc has a nadir, or lowest glucose, about +5 to +7 hours post shot. Home testing will show you when the nadir is, and how long ProZinc lasts in your cat. As you collect data, you will be able to develop a sliding scale specific to your cat based on how he responds to the ProZinc.

And that protocol is totally unsuitable for a depot insulin such as Lantus or Levemir.

If Brody's still on Lantus, you also need to be aware that Lantus doesn't work well with that sort of sliding scale - consistency of dosing is the key to getting into good numbers with one of the depot insulins.

No it should not. The only Tight Regulation that has been developed through controlled studies is the Lantus Tight Regulation. Depot insulin like Lantus and Lev should not be dosed on a sliding scale, its action is completely different than a non-depot insulin.
