Good morning LL!

Happy furry purry guy with all 5 p's. Tarragon didn't sleep with his beans last night. :( He wanted to stay in his cave. He was very talky this morning though so he was obviously telling us all about it.

Back at tbp today while DH is home with the fur kids and the remodelers. New countertop goes in today and they start to tile. Woohoo! It was suppose to be done today but sounds like it will drag into Monday. Mason decided he could use a vacation day to stay there with the kids. Good boy.

Have a great day! Lots to do this weekend now that the weather is getting nice. We need to till the garden, open the pool (maybe), mow, weed, etc. Shopping for a new mirror, new lighting, towels, shower curtain, etc. Plus I have 4 half marathons in the next 4 weeks, starting next Saturday. That means my last long run this weekend. April is going to be a crazy month.

That is the only bad thing about remodeling, it always takes longer than you expect, even if you have a contractor doing the work. I work for a General Contractor and our jobs almost always run long, but I think it has a lot to do with bad supervision of the laborers.

They ran into some issues with getting the old tile up. We were suppose to have it removed and it wouldn't budge so it took them 1/2 a day to get it done. I guess it was porcelin and the mastic had pretty much soaked up into the tile and really really sealed it to the floor. Our house was built in 1978 and it was the original tile. ;)

Glad to see Mr T. in the blue today. Hope I got the right one on the bathroom remodel this time. I post in Furballs condo about the bathroom remodel. Got everything all mixed up.
So I see it is coming along. I know you will enjoy it when it's all done.
Take Care, Peg and Toby

Morning Melissa :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Nice BG Tarragon. A camp-out last night for you? All night in your tent? Way cool. I bet you had lots t tell mama and papa about. Surf well today, 'K?

Good luck with the bathroom. I can remember something similar when we did ours here several years ago. They used strong stuff back then. Hope the rest goes smooth;y and you are not too far off scheduled finish time. I bet it will be so nice when it is done. AWESOME that Mason can be the supervisor today. :)

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well.

I bet he had so many great stories about his cave slumber party! Maybe he was wondering why his beans don't join him in his bed for once!

Color me impressed you're doing 4 halfs in 4 weeks, I make my limit two half+ races per season. Enjoy your run this weekend, that last long run is so nice! :)

Looking good, Mr. T! Yer beans were lonely without you but sometimes you just need alone time. Good luck with the last bit of the remodel. It's really moving along, even if it's taking longer than planned. And good luck with the half-marathons! Are Brian and Mason going to try to keep up with you? :)
Liz

Liz - Ha! I wish I could keep up with Brian. He will be running the fulls for 3 of those anyway. ;) Mason and I are planning on running all of them together since he hasn't had time to train with work. Which means I will actually be able to keep up with him. LOL.

Patricia - I wish I could limit myself or my DH. LOL. We are Half Fanatics and he is also a Marathon Maniac - both very true to their names.

I have not so fond memories of our remodel. We started with our wet bar, then all three bathrooms, then the kitchen. Everything took longer than planned. But once it was over, the difference was amazing and I still can't help but smile when I walk into the bathrooms or the kitchen. Well worth it, although I was questioning it while it was going on!!

Nice start to the day, Tarragon. Where do you plan to go from there? Perhaps a little dip in the lagoon? Go for it. Mason is there to throw you the ropes if need be! :p:joyful:
