Morning all, well Mr Scrabble earned a dosecrease last night, woo hoo! I shot him this morning with a .5, I couldn't even imagine shooting a .25 or lower because it looks like there is nothing in the syringe!! I am so excited that his big week didn't hurt his progress at all. I am surprised how well he is doing! Hope he likes his new dose! Seems to be acting pretty normal, he looks so cute in his little tshirt!! Hope everyone has a great day!!

Scrabble...what a good boy! Taking care of that infection and a dental...why it's like you're a new kitty. Such pretty numbers! Keep up the good work!

Scrabble is lookin' good for sure! How about a photo of him in the shirt, :mrgreen:

When you need to start shooting .25 or less, you will be able to! It is hard to imagine, isnt it?

Way to go Scrabble! Michelle, he is looking really good....I know you had a huge smile on your face this morning when I saw this numbers. Good number fershur!
Yes, it is very hard dosing .25....even harder is a .1, lol, but what I did was find a spot on the syringe and try to be consistent. There really is enough insulin in the syringe, even if it doesn't look like it. Take an old syringe and fill it up to a certain spot w/some colored juice, or just plain water, and then shoot it out in the sink...you will be surprised how much comes out...I know I was!!

Loved the pic of Scrabble in his new shirt....he certainly is a handsome guy w/or w/o the shirt. So regal looking...like he knows he's the KING!! I hope you guys have a wonderful Caturday and wishing you more more more wonderful green numbers!!!

Nice number and congrats on the dosecrease. Those small doses? I think it's more important to keep the amount consistent than anything else. A little playing around with an empty syringe and what you can get into it reliably is helpful.

The best tip I ever got about that here involved turning the plunger as you push it to give you more control. You may already be doing that. Heck, with my memory, you may be the one who suggested it! But I thought I'd mention it just in case.

Great news on the dosecrease Michelle. So exciting.
I love how he looks in his little t-shirt.
I hope his booboo heals quickly and he is feeling much better.

Went to bed for a couple of hours! So do we earn another dosecrease for tonight or should we stick with the .5 since we just got a dosecrease yesterday?

It is most likely that the 47 today is carryover from still overfilled shed from yesterday. Basically, the two cycles where Scrabble had below 50 numbers are back-to-back. I would keep the 0.5 dose but still be attentive and monitor during this evening's cycle.

Thanks Sienne that is what I was thinking but was not sure! Isn't he adorable? My DH and I say he looks like a jailbird in his stripes!

Thanks Barb, yeah he has been really good with the shirt, he can't get at the stitches so I think he will not need a cone. He lifts his back leg to itch the area but he can't reach it which is good. He doesn't seem to mind the shirt and he makes his mama smile cuz he looks so cute!

how adorable in his little shirt (and you picked good colors for him, too).

I like it when people sometimes post pictures of their kitties, on my laptop screen the avatar pictures are so small that I can hardly tell what the cat looks like. It's nice to put a face with a name!

I agree with holding the 0.5 dose tonight because he could still be emptying his shed, but keep an eye on it because if he drops again tonight, then he'll need a reduction for sure.

Oh, what an adorable photo of your boy in his new T-shirt! :-D He just looks so cute!

I'm glad that the healing process is going so well after his surgery and dental, and his numbers are looking great!

Scrabble seems a little sleepy today and I have had to hand feed him to make sure he is getting enough food. I think the antibiotics are making him less hungry. Sooo happy with his numbers!!!!! DH will get a test tonight!
