AMPS - 381

This is the fourth morning that his AMPS is lower than the previous day. I am thinking that I continue with the .6 this morning.
 
I think giving it another day is a good idea, especially since yesterday started with a bounce and was a little strange. If he is still in the High 300s at pmps, you might increase to .8
 
Darn - I must have had a fur shot this morning. I thought I might have but wasn't sure. Getting used to the shorter needles. I tested him twice at +5 just to make sure that it was in the 400's. I will go ahead and feed him now and I guess ride him out till PMPS. His numbers are really going to be high for the PM I am suspecting. I am so mad at myself.

Fur shots happen to us all. No worries! Usually they happen at the most inopportune times. ;-)

It's also possible that Merlin bounced and he's having a high flat bounce cycle.
 
I thought I may have but when I checked to see if I could feel any wetness, I didn't feel anything but I guess that doesn't mean anything. So we can wait until PMPS but am thinking at least definitely a .8, right? What if it is higher than 500?
 
If Merlin is bouncing, it's possible he may "clear it" and come down some before PMPS. Unless he's super high like in the 500's I'm leaning towards 0.8 or possibly even a 0.6 again.

Well as expected. On a positive note, I think it could have been much higher. I am thinking that a .6 tonight? .8?
 
I'm leaning towards a 0.8 on that pre-shot tonight, or you could stick with 0.6 and see if that's enough to pull Merlin off that higher pre-shot. Choices, choices, choices, right? Whichever you choose, it will give you more data to help figure out what works best for Merlin. :smile:
 
Yes you are right, it is all about the data. It does make sense that the number being so high tonight, an .8 makes sense. So that is what I did. He didn't eat much but I think it was enough. He had a healthy meal two hours before his shot, so I will need to remember to not give as much food two hours before the shot. Anyway, we shall see what the numbers are tomorrow. Thank you so much for your input.
