Looks like Daphne is back to her high AMPS now that I'm not giving her the +9 at night.(AM 2:30), but I think for now, I'm going to see how her daytime numbers do and maybe figure out another way to bring her AMPS down. Mayo Clinc said another way was to give insulin closer to the "dawn effect" time, so her body will have the insulin it needs to get through the 3AM-8AM issues.

For now I'm keeping things as is. DML is getting operated on tomorrow, so I'll be running back home to give shots and won't have time for much else I guess.

I didn't get on here till now, so I hope I will read good news about BigMac, my next stop, and then I'll drop to the floor for a few hours :YMSIGH:

She came down quite nicely, though...lovely PMPS!

I hope all goes well with your MIL tomorrow, and you can get some rest!! Let me know if you need any help!!

Barb, you've gone back in time - surely you don't want to do last month all over again!

Good luck with the changing of the shot time, it will be very ineresting to see how this works for Daphne.

Thanks Celi, I think she will be ok, she is a strong 88 year old!

Thanks Amy, I will have two cars and DH will stay at hospital while I go home to Daphne, but its nice to know just in case, much appreciated!!

Serryn, I'm not sure what you mean, last month :?: but if you say it was bad, I believe you :lol:


Just go back on here, so hope we hear from BigMac's mom, and hope the big guy is doing well.

Thanks guys, for catching my mistakes as I go. I hate to say this, Amy, rest won't fix some of this, but lack of it does make it much worse. Maybe I can put something in my thing on the bottom here, (I guess it's my signature?), but what can I put?? "Read at your own risk"? :lol: or "Don't believe everything you see"? :lol: or "Beware, Air-Head Here"? :lol: :lol:
I'll take any suggestions on the above, just don't be too hard on me :cool:

Hey, we ALL have our moments...I don't think you'll find anyone here would be hard on you for any reason!!!
 
I find your little air-head moments to be very endearing, especially the way that you laugh about it yourself, very cute!
 
aw, no worries, we ALL have airhead moments. don't worry for one moment about it. you've got a lot to deal with right now.

i hope all goes well with your mother in law tomorrow - time enough to do things with daphne after the surgery.
