Good evening everyone,

finally Binie got a new libre yesterday at the vet and we get a bit more reliable numbers after all. I planned to start the new dose of 2,75 IE yesterday after the vet but at shot time she was unusually low with 300 at the Accu check and the arrow trending down. Really strange. So I decided to stay with 2,5 IE for the night and it seemed to be a good decision.

Today I gave the new dose of 2,75 but she stayed almost flat pink all day. We'll see what happens tonight. Somehow I don't find too much logic in all of that.

Yesterday was my first day of work again. Thank god I can work from home most of the time but next week I have two days outside. Since the diagnosis I fear leaving her at home for too long but sometimes I just have stuff to do. I wonder how people are doing that being away all day. I is really hard.

Hope you all have a safe day! :bighug:

update @Staci & Ivy: Thanks to Staci I called Abbott today and told them about the one sensor with all the sensor error messages and the sensor which was stuck in the applicator. It was a very friendly and easy call and they send me two new sensors. I decided not to put the already opened sensor on Binie because it felt to unsafe and bringing her to the vet is always so much stress. So tonight I will try to wear it myself to get an overview how my bloodsugar is doing over the day. Since Binie was diagnosed I didn't do anything anymore for my health so maybe this is a good chance. And if the sensor is failing after a week it is better it fails on me than on Binie.

I am so sorry you have had so much trouble with the Libre :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: Good luck with the dose increase and I hope this all gets straightened out. Diabetes is complicated enough without technical difficulties!!! :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you so much Ruth! Yes, the Libre sometimes feels like another complication and on the other hand it also gives me peace of mind to see her numbers all the time. Seems like everything comes with a price... I saw your sweet Tiger also developed hyprothyroidism after Idodine treatment like Binie did. I never thought that happens so often. Tiger was such a handsome boy! :bighug::bighug::cat:
