He's looking so great i'm waiting for the other shoe to fall!

punkin's been up for a half hour or so, wanting food. he's watching the recap of The Wedding at the moment. ;-) has done some grooming and is looking pretty good.

we're out of cerenia, so i think i need to run to the vet's first thing.

No shoes falling, only numbers falling again into the pretty green pastures where Punkin belongs.
I sure hope that infection was the only cause for numbers you were seeing the past few weeks.
Those were quite some responses to your questions last night..Sienne and the others picked that vet apart with precision like instruments with
facts, documentation , personal experience and of course last but not least the hundreds of stories here of kitties who have made it just fine without that vets textbook answers..
I think the census last night was dead on.......The search continues..

just gave him breakfast #2 and he's eating well. regular vet is gone and partner doesn't want to give him more cerenia unless he's actually vomiting. He's been on it orally for 6 full days now following one day of an injection. i know it's longer than vets like to do, but if the nausea and vomiting return i'm calling back. getting rid of the infection is top priority and he has to eat to get insulin, so . . .

:shock: he lost interest in the wedding. if only there had been mice in attendance, he might've stayed with it! :lol:

have i mentioned how thrilled i am with his numbers!?! dancing_cat

the new vet visit yesterday - that vet said he still looked pretty inflamed and would probably need a full 2 weeks on the clindamycin. today is day 9 of antibiotics, day 7 of clindamycin.

clean plate club membership restored! :mrgreen:

Julie: his numbers are AWESOME!!!! Great job. I'm glad he's feeling well enough to watch the wedding even if he lost interest. Have a wonderful day!! So nice to visit your condo again...always fun!!

+6=60. washing a foot in the midst of the pile of nanners, then rubbing his face on them. i never knew he liked catnip so much!

Julie, are you giving your cat tranquilizers :lol: (for all i know tranquilizers would probably make his BG go through the roof), but you get where i'm going with that. Those numbers are amazing. I am so happy for Punkin and you too.
Could you please explain to me "nanners" I believe i heard that term here before, I could be wrong. You don't mean bananas do you?
Because i have to tell you, I have a visual of him doing just that and it's kinda givin me a tickle :lol:

the poor people in my "real" life are so patient to listen to me go on and on about mr punkin!

nanners are catnip bananas - made with super strong catnip. mannie is The Nanner King and he told punkin about them. take a look in Loose Lips - i posted a pic of him today with his nanner.

You're like me: #s are good, OK, so when are you going to bounce? I found myself trying to explain to people about FD and most look at me as if I'm crazy to be trying to save this little one's life. I feel that it's part of the promise I made when I brought him and his sister into our family. But everybody here understands! That's what makes it bearable. You go, Punkin.

YAY!!!! I LOVE these numbers!!! You have to be just so happy. I hope all is well with the infection clearing up, and the vomiting. Paws crossed that all stays good.

Keep up the great work, Julie and Punkin! I'm a bit late tonight, but so happy to see Punkin's numbers. Have a great evening. If Punkin looks hard on the wedding re-runs he might spot a mouse. There must be lots of them in Westminster Abbey!!

Saw his nanner pic on Loose Lips. LUV IT!!!! How adorable. And he keeps churning out these great cycles.
 
i just don't trust these numbers - maybe that's silly, but i'm waiting for the hypo or the bounce, or SOMETHING! feel like i can't go to bed yet . . . news is over, jay leno is over, jimmy fallon, who i don't really even like is on.
