Pk's little adventure into Ptitis land seems to be coming to a close ( Thank GOD!)

Last night he ate his dinner 100% for the first time in...three weeks? I am still mixing about a tsp of the old ladies Friskies puree into his raw, but slowly lessening that amount.

No more Tumil-K, no more AB, no more Bup, no more syringe feeding, no more SQuids. whew!

BG's have gone back to hovering between 150 and 250 depending on time of day/night with a few 350's thrown in for good measure I suppose.

Jennifur- for a "terminal" cat is doing pretty well! She has a new hobby- keeping me guessing about what food she will/won't eat and in what quantity and location. But she IS eating on her own, so who am I to complain?

We've gone to FF varieties for her- she likes the kitten one best so far. And she refuses to eat on her shelf, so is now breakfasting on the couch in her heated kitty pie- and only eats IF I am sitting right there with her but ignoring her. oi!

She takes 3 to 5 passes at the same meal over about an hours time...might continue to come, but an hour is as much as I can sit there with the dish having a cat coming and going and 120 pounds of dog trying to bully me into giving up the goods. ( Caleb Luis believes he is rightly deserving of anything left over after the cats meals....ShoutAnthony just wants it b/c Caleb does- well, that and he will eat ANYTHING)

She is eating an entire 3oz of fancy feast the last 2 meals now!

Anyway, her last Baytril shot was night before last...so no more AB and she has not shown any need for bup at his point. No more Nutri-cal since she is eating now.

She is also back to abusing my socks- clean or dirty, doesn't matter to her...dragging them about the house and announcing her kill to anything within listening distance. I have quite the collection of mis matched footware on my couch now.

It seems all is well in the land of 'Yore....for now (knockwood, antijinx)

You sure had a tough couple of weeks there....

Glad they are both on the mend/holding their own. Too funny about the socks. I love when indoor kitties announce their kill of some found object or toy. One of mine does that. It's so cute when you know they can't possibly have a real "kill". You should be glad she is just hauling your socks around. I had a cat that would get her paw into my underwear drawer even if it was only open a mear 1/2" - and then I would find underwear all over. At least they were always clean.

oh no- she harrasses my underware, too! ...and washclothes and used kleenexes....

Paul-Kyle ate his first 100% meal as fast as he alwasy used to tonight! It was gone so fast I thought the other cats helped, but they all had faced planted in their own food that was almost gone. And it barely had any of the puree in it.

Jennifer has eaten 5 ozs today so far and is polishing off the last ounce as I type...I think we are going for a record breaking 6 ozs today! She's flitting about the house, smacking up the dog's faces and sassing everyone that walks by.

Vet did dx terminal, with the caveat, however, that if the baytril kicked the bacteria in the arse, she may have several years more...judging by her bx and eating, I'd say someone forgot to copy her to the memo about being terminal.

Good to see her back to normal...PK, too....*breath
