scary night for me....
I got up in the middle of the night for the loo and Shadow was sleeping in her little bed on the bathroom floor
and I guess she was really sleeping soundly.
She usually chirps at me, and I pet her.... but she just lay still, with her rear leg sticking straight out over the bed, so I reached down to pet her and my imagination ran rampant.
She seemed limp ( like when animals just died) and my brain went into panic....
I was expecting her to move or something and she didn't.... and I picked her up.... and held her to my ear...
( I lost most of my hearing last month) and she started purring....
and I realized she was okay.... she was just sleeping that hard.
but Yikes.... sure scared me for that couple of minutes....

yesterday

gotta go get more shrimp...
gave her a break yesterday, unfortunately with more canned food, and her poo is softer....
hopefully today she'll be ready for some more raw rabbit with shrimp....

and still waiting for my new insulin....

Rhiannon. How absolutely terrifying. So relieved to see it was just a kitty in a profoundly sound sleep. And yes, sometimes I've had to poke and prod to get movement from a sound sleeper here.

That is so scary when that happens. I'm glad Shadow was just sleeping. I hope she eats the raw food.

How Scary so glad she was alright. Sometimes I have to shake Toby to wake him up.
