4/28 Raven AMPS 86 + 5 168 +6 200 +7 229

Hi all, I have to head to work shortly and Raven’s AMPS was 86 - likely in part because one of his meals jammed in the feeder last night.

what should I do? He’s on 3.5u. Yesterday i must have accidentally given a furshot w/o realizing b/c his numbers were in mid 200s suddenly.

Will he eat from the autofeeder when you are away? You could always feed a little carbs now (honey) to give him a boost and shoot the full dose.

Yes he will get meals from auto feeder. 1 at 8, 10, 1, and 4pm.

Add some medium carbs to the first and second meals in the autofeeder as well.

Thank you so so much for your advice. Off now and asked my husband to pop in if he can get away fron his desk at all in 2 hours.

Thanks again for your quick response and advice @Bandit's Mom. Just wanted to update you. Raven is doing fine. My husband wasn’t able to get Raven’s BG measure until lunch at which point it was at 168. I ended up driving back early because I’ve been sick with a cold that loves to really get going in the afternoons. So I’ve been taking measures hourly since and they’ve gone up further to 229. I’m not sure if this is a spike caused by the drop earlier, by the carbs or once again a furshot.

It's possible that 86 might have been the nadir (sometimes nadirs can be as late as the end of the cycle) or he went lower last night and is bouncing from there. The carbs would have contributed to the bouncing. It's good you shot the full dose
