Hello everyone! Urinalysis came back clear - no sign of infection nor inflammation says the Dr - phew! Vet mentioned the excessive drinking + urination was probably still the clinical signs from her diabetes but to keep an eye out.

She went up to 2.75 evening of 4/25 and now that she has been in the blues (and some greens!) I've noticed a decrease in thirst/it's closer to normal.

Anyhow, keeping a close eye on these greens today
 
She is looking good on this dose. She would drink/pee less on days that her number are largely below 200 - like yesterday.

thank you Bhooma! Yes *knock on wood* she seems to be doing good on this dose. Vet actually wanted her to go from 2.5 to 3 when I took her in. So grateful for the guidance from this group because I don't know where we'd be if I just blindly followed what the vet told me.

just did +11 and she is at 84. Wanted to post now just in case she is in green at PMPS- if she is, and it’s in the mid 80s or 90s, is it ok to still give her the full dose? I can still stall for 20 min without feeding to get the data on if she’s going up + I can monitor throughout the night.

Awesome cycle today! :D

Some basic questions about tonight's dose. Can you monitor tonight? Do you have HC on hand and plenty of test strips? How's her appetite?
 
@Wendy&Neko thank you! I do have plenty of test strips and HC and can monitor. Appetite has been pretty good, seems quite hungry now so I’m thinking she will be good to eat a whole can at dinner time but sometimes she likes to be picky.
 
If you do shoot, make sure to start with a +1 and a +2, to give you a heads up how the cycle might play out.
 
@Wendy&Neko Ok sounds good. At 7:10 she is at 79. Usually I test in ten min, feed and shoot at 7:30. Can test again in fifteen and see where she is at.
 
@Wendy&Neko just did another test at 7:30 she is at 85. Did a second one right after came to 81. Is she ok to get her full dose or do you think I should keep stalling?
 
Ok I did another test fifteen ish min later she was at 86 on relion and 103 on the alpha trak. Gave her her food and she is eating it up so I went ahead and gave her the shot. I will definitely get a +1 and +2.
 
Looks like she might be listening to you Wendy. She is at 135 at +2. I’ll see how her +3 is, if it’s still in the 100’s I’m still planning on setting an alarm and grabbing a mid cycle reading just to see where she is at.
