Thanks Lyresa. Mooch is a really sweet cat and the ideal patient except he's a kibble addict who doesn't like wet food

I have one of those...KT....but luckily he'll now eat wet...he STILL does a "hard food...hard food" chant at times.

What did you do to finally get KT eating wet? I've tried quite a few different brands/flavors and also raw/cooked fresh meat. Most he just will not eat even when he's hungry. A couple he's eaten for a few days but then decides he doesn't like it any more. I've also tried making a soupy mix with hot water, sprinkling ground kibble and forte flora on top and mixing in catnip and some kibbles. Now I'm going to try going back to the EVO dry he likes and mixing in small amounts of wrt wood and gradually adding more as he'd ok with the mix. Any other ideas based on what worked with KT?

Mooch seems pretty stable on the new food/dose so far. Tomorrow I'll be able to take some tests through the day to see what his nadir is.
I need to be careful about mixing the food in as he considers kibble that has been in the gravy/wet food to be "ruined" and leaves it :roll:. I've bought a selection of the foods he hasn't tried yet that are low carb and will start out by keeping this food separate on the plate to see if there are any he will eat some. He eats the 1/8 cup of EVO kibble in a couple of minutes and although it provides the minimum calories he needs the quantity is so small he is still hungry afterwards and then has the wet food if he wants it.
