Looks like Jupiter is once again bouncing up from those low numbers last night! Hoping these numbers will come down a bit - to the blues today!

A nice little descent for Jupiter. It should give you both a break on the testing. I'm thinking +6 would be perfect. How about you?

I am thinking I should test again at +8??? To see how fast he is dropping?? If anyone has a different opinion, please let me know your suggestion on when to test next. Thanks

+8 was 132 - I dont think he has eaten in the past hour, so it looks like his numbers are holding steady. I think I should test again in maybe 1 or 2 hours??? Any opinions?

Sounds good.

I wanted to go over some food management ideas really quick.

Last night, we gave him HC because he was coming down fast very early in the cycle. I wanted to slow him down a bit so he would hopefully not bounce as high or as long.

Generally, we feed LC unless they fall below 50. An exception would be like last night where they are speeding down OR where they might be in the 50s by +2 (unless they were having those long, lovely flat cycles).

So it's important to learn what Jupiter needs to control his numbers and if he's surfing above 50 or even dips his toes a little bit below, try the LC first. Again...last night was different and you did switch to LC after you got him slowed down so well done!

+10 was 123 - I think I am going to wait until PMPS to test again, as long as no one else suggests otherwise.

Hey Jupe,

Pajama party again last night huh? I see that Marje, Jamie and Dane attended the slumber party, although, I'm not sure how much slumber was involved.

Are you going to let your momma sleep tonight?

I really am starting to think he didnt want that dose increase !!! Thats why hes bringing his numbers back down for us!

Marje... did I hear that you were inducting Jupiter into the Lil' Stinka club? :lol: Is he bouncing after his nice afternoon of the blues already? That lil' STINKA! Come on Jupiter... the other way, the other way!

Oh yes...the list of prospective members to the Lil Stinka Club is growing :lol:

Could be he is still bouncing. Sometimes it looks like they are clearing and then it's like the body decides its not quite done. cat(2)_steam

I am trying to test less often - so I am trying to make a plan for tonight...

I will get a "before-bed" test. Which I am hoping to lay down soon so probably a +4..

I am thinking maybe if his numbers are still high at +4... maybe I could wait until +7 to test again...and Dane would be able to get a +10 before he leaves for work.



Does anybody have any opinions on this? Does this seem like a good plan? Anyone have any suggestions on better times to test?
 
Since his +4 was higher than the last test - I am going to go to bed soon and I will just wait until +10 to test again. Lots of LC food left out tonight =]
