Not too shabby for a very stress-filled day with a ton of changes to her life. Tomorrow will bring more stresses but all designed to get her back to a picture of health. Tomorrow she will get her mats shaved off, (she is going to be scary thin then) and starting her on regular testing, and antibiotics.
She had her first meal in her new home just a little bit ago and scarfed down half a can of Friskies. For now I'm just going to let her free feed on all the canned food she can wolf down, when the dish is empty more will magically appear. Once I get her weight back up again then I'll switch her over to the 4 small meals a day everyone gets.
Right now she is resting comfortably in a large dog kennel covered over by a sheet to give her some privacy. Then as soon as I can get her in she will take a trip to see her new vetty bean.
We have a long ways to go to make this girl the lovely princess she is meant to be, but baby steps and we will get there. I think I'm going to have to start her, her own blog so her many fans that pulled together to get her home to me can follow her progress.
