Good morning, everyone,

Rusty woke us up early with stomach gurgles. I think he's working on that hairball, but he didn't throw it up and we all went back to sleep. This morning he was eager for breakfast. We had a good test and shot, breakfast, lung treat, schmooze, and now a nap in his little bed by the radiator. It is still cold here--low 20s this morning. I hope the promised 60 degrees will arrive today. Edward and I want to get out in the canoe again before we head for NY City on Monday.

Hey Kitties: the radiators are cranking out heat this morning. I'm deer-watching from the radiator and may make some hot tuna toddies later if anyone wants to join me. We can plan what we want to do in the city next week.

Hi Ella. Nice AMPS to begin the day. I hope you get the predicted warm temps this afternoon and you and Edward can get another canoe trip in this weekend.

oh wow - you are still in the 20's? BRRRRR! I so hope the 60's arrive,and some sun. Good luck on getting out in the canoe. I hope that coes to be.

YAY! NYC next week I read that and immediately thought hoe Mannie would be all over that NC trip. What fun those excursions were. The BMG on the rooftops! :lol: Hot dogs and squirrel chasing in Central Park! :lol: :lol: Goodluck with all the prep work for your trip.

Nice start, but you need to keep an eye on the lagoon today. Seems like Maggie is on duty on her own today, Tess is sitting it out w/ you.

Hope you get out in the canoe, boy what changes in weather.

NYC???!!!!! Oh Boy!!! We can do all the stuff we dids with Mannie and put up plaques all over town that Mannie play w/ the BMG, here …and here …and here …and ……… and of course eats hot dogs! -- Tess

Nice report on Rusty and hope he makes it to the Lagoon today and back to supervising. Mags was in the Lagoon a short while. Enjoy your paddle.

Rusty, would love to come over and sit on the radiators, and visit the deer and plan our trip to NYC. Oh boy, those famous NY hot dogs, too. Mags

Nice to see Rusty made the lagoon today. I hope it warmed up enough for you to get out in the canoe.

I'd love to come deer watch and plan what we'll do in NYC. Be there soon.

Hi again,

The LagoonMeister was in residence for most of the afternoon!

We got bogged down and the weather was so-so, so we skipped the paddle (will do one tomorrow, for sure). I did get out on my bike for a short ride. Rusty had some good outdoor time with his papabean. The annual soap-box derby took place in the village today and lots of kids built cars and drove them down the big hill. We enjoyed watching for a while. There were refreshment stands, and the draft horses (Lady and Fee) from Paul Smiths College were giving children rides in their wagon. When we got home I got a start on paying bills and balancing my checkbook (only a start, however).

Time to visit a few condos and then veg out!

Nicely done, Rusty! :mrgreen: Thats what we like to see. Did you ride your road bike? I am thinking I will go out tomorrow if Zener lets me.

Rusty had a coughing fit just before bedtime. If it's gunk, I hope he can get it up. It didn't sound like hairball.
