Ripley is doing great today!!
There'll be no change in her dose ~ it seems to be working well for her at the moment (anti-jinx), plus it's very easy for me to measure 1 whole unit as opposed to a fat or a skinny dose. I was playing around with my calipers the other day, and found that the Relion syringes I've been using since the beginning have slightly varying markings. I'm not surprised (Walmart :roll: ), but I am surprised that I don't see more of a fluctuation in Ripley's numbers due to it. I guess the inconsistencies aren't enough to cause ripples in my Ripples. :lol: So that's a good thing! A bad thing, though, is my pun. :? Time for btb (it is Caturday, after all), and I'll bbl for some condo visits... :-D

Thanks for the late-night visit, Nocturnal Marje! The way you 'said' Ripley's name regarding the kibble raid sent shivers! And I had a lovely piquenique with the PIC (Partners In Crime) ~ Ripley's and Marley's new title ~ even though I ended up sitting in a chair near the blankie, because the X-Lg PIC kept trying to crawl onto my lap while I was eating (yes, Marley thinks he's a lap dog :lol: :roll: :shock: ).

Morning Josie, your condo cracks me up and love the puns. The pic of Ripley and Marley staeling the blankie before you came back is so cute, kind of you snooze, you lose. :lol: Marley won! That's a nice AMPS for Ripley's early start. Enjoy your btd. I better get off the puter myself and take my walk or I'll find other things to do. Have a great day.

I'm glad the syringes being off isn't causing Ripley any problems. I also use the Relion syringes from Wal-Mart. I didn't realize how badly they are off until I bought calipers. I feel much better using the calipers and being sure I have a consistent dose for Furball.

Hi Ripley. Great AMPS for Rippley this morning. It is so much easier to measure whole number units, isn't it :lol: . Heidi, one of our civvies is a blanket stealer also. Whenever DW gets up she takes the blanket but crawls under it so you really have to be careful that she doesn't get sat on.

I slept longer than I thought I would, and woke up to the sound of Ripley licking her already-CPC'd bowl. I panicked, thinking that she was letting me know she had dropped ~ but, no, she was just looking for extra fuds. So she got some freeze-dried chicken. My heart is still racing. :shock: :lol: :roll:
