Mooch had a good blood glucose this morning but ate virtually nothing in the last 24 hours. He's being even more picky about the wet food and refused ones he's eaten before even though he was really hungry. The EVO dry is about 8% carbohydrate and 600 calories a cup so carb/calorie wise a quarter cup is about the same as a can of medium carb cat food. I'm going to try the approach of feeding him the EVO dry 1/8 cup twice a day and gradually mixing in canned food to see if that will work. This was suggested by one of the FDMB members and was successful with their picky cat so hopefully it'll work with Mooch.

This is among the lowest pre-shot numbers Mooch has had. When you are shooting low, it's necessary to get a +1 and +2 to make sure your cat's numbers aren't tanking.
