Hope you have a Good Caturday and D.L. slides down.

Bears can be scary up close.
We usually get visits from one every year in late summer as they are looking for easy pickins' from the trash.

A few years back, my neighbor had a watermelon in her mud room.... ( they left the back door propped open) and a bear came in and took one big bite out of it and left it there.
She had a 6 year old daughter at the time who fortunately was sleeping.
They quit leaving the door open after that.

Morning Lisa, glad to hear Do Lou is doing well after his dental and no side effects. Sorry your Migraine had to happen the second day of your trip. Yikes on the bear! I've never seen one! Have a nice weekend.

Hi Lisa,
Bummer on the migraine. Did the barometric pressure change suddenly? That's usually what causes mine. Anyway, I'm glad that you had one good day out of the two. Neat to see the bear! We have had a few encounters with bears over the years, but most have been in public campsites, where there is easy access to food, even when the garbage cans are supposedly "bear proof". Backcountry campers in the Adirondacks are required to keep their food sealed in bear canisters.

So glad to hear that Do Lou has recovered from his dental. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Hugs & scritches,

Ella & Rusty
