Well he is not off dry all the way yet but almost when I am home he is getting zippo I did let him have a tiny bit last night. Since he was pacing all over the room and I knew that was what he wanted so I gave him like 10-12 kibbles and that made him happy. We are getting there though and I know its going to make such a difference with his numbers. :mrgreen:

10-12 kibbles a day isn't bad at all. You are doing great...you know how hard it is to break those kitties out of their routine!!!

You have come a long way, kiddo! And so has Do Lou. The numbers are something you can work with now with the decrease in dry consumption!
Congratulations on your progress and I am so happy that you are giving it such a good try!!! Numbers show it too!!! :thumbup :thumbup

Well all these OTJ parties and trials we have going on give me plenty of motivation since one day I would love to be doing that for Do Lou since he was a steroid induced diabetic I always try to keep the hope that now with the right insulin and if I can get his diet right maybe we will have a chance to go off the juice one day maybe ;-)

yay for yellows today! Great to see Do Lou doing well and when I first got on this board I was soooo inspired by all the trial and otj kitties too! I prayed every day that Scrabble would get off insulin! I eventually stopped giving dry and they didn't notice after a while. Now they love their canned food! They are always waiting for their next meal!!!
 
Hi Lisa, Do Lou looks great today. How wonderful to be getting good numbers. So glad he likes his new food, too. Keep up the good work! Don't forget about the Full Moon party tomorrow. "Full Fish Moon"!
