Good Morning LL! What a day for Tess yesterday a beautiful back to back pair of greens. Unfortunately after the hairball late in the afternoon her appetite went down the tubes. We fed her 9% in the evening, not because of her numbers, but just to get her to eat. She's still not terribly interested this morning. Sorry about the lack of posting yesterday, life intervenes and last night I just wasn't feeling up to snuff.

WCR All 5 Ps but no Clean Plate Club, sorry Mannie. :cry:

Morning guys! Quite the cycles for Tess yesterday. I hope her eating improves... what a hassle that must be. Mannie says he forgives her for not making the clean plate club today.

No worries on the postings - I have been there myself of late. We all do the best we can.

94 @ +2 so it looks like the greens are still holding. :mrgreen: Trying the Turkey and Salmon again and so far it seems to be working. You might know that i stock up on Wellness and then she starts turning her nose up at it. ohmygod_smile

Mannie, got my sunscreen and ready to go. Oh, I hope the patch is OK. It is so close to being ready. -- Tess

:lol: :lol: and I know n the fuds! One of my staple 8% foods was Grammie's Pot Pie: he loved it! So of course I bought several cans. Now he just looks at it like: "you're kidding right?" - this from a kitty who eats anything.... :lol: :lol:

Tess seems to be surfing green today :mrgreen: But picky with her food :roll: :roll: ohmygod_smile :roll: Gave her more Wellness Turk and Salmon at +4 for her last breffis and she ignored it. Even with sprinkles confused_cat :roll: Then at +5 I tried .15 oz more Well T&S and she ate it, but still ignored the previous offering ohmygod_smile , same stuff :roll: I gave her another .3 oz Well T&S at +6 and she finished it just fine. Cats, sheesh :roll: ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile :roll: :roll: So she got her food today by hook or crook :-D :lol: :lol:

How wonderful Tess is doing!!! Champ is very jealous.

When it comes to eating, I had to buy Champ a new food bowl. His old one was plastic and he loves that Wellness food so much, he would lick the bowl so much it would end up on the other side of the room. I bought a nice heavy ceramic bowl so it would stay put, but he still licks it so hard that it moves about a foot from where it started!! I'll tell ya what, if Champers ever stops eating, I'll know for a fact that he's very sick!! No joke!

Tess is still not an enthusiastic eater. She ate her first meal this evening, more Well T&S, but I had to coax her a lot. Michelle, she ate the fud when I fixed it this morning, but not for Ann, and it was the same food. So I got stuck getting her to eat tonight. ohmygod_smile
Barb, we have no trouble shooting in the 50's with Levemir. Numbers usually go up for a couple of hours and then nadir is at +12 :lol: ohmygod_smile :lol: :lol:
Patty, Tess was eating the Wellness like that the last several weeks, until yesterday. It may be a hair ball. She coughed one up yesterday.

I thawed out a package of raw. HAPPY KITTY! Nom! Nom! Nom! Just a picky eater i guess. then she came and cuddled and purred in my lap. We did the raw last month when she was being fussy too! But that was the last package. I need to go get more chicken tomorrow! :lol: :lol:

Patty, I'm glad you got the ceramic bowl. Plastic can cause allergies for some cats. As for the moving, try a that puffy shelf liner to keep it from sliding. Tess used to push her water bowl all over. :roll:

wow tess is looking so good! what nice healthy numbers - glad you got her to eat. silly kitters don't know what's good for them!
