Yellow was the color of the day yesterday. Mannie did manage a dip into the mid blues during the AM cycle, ended up with a flat yellow surf for the PM cycle. We continue with that this morning. I expect all that flatness will equate to some action soon - this morning? or this evening? hmmmmmm.... your bean is ready Mannie. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. Yesterday was such a miserable day here in the PNW: heavy rains all day long. Mannie had little interest in going out. I'd offer by opening the door, he'd stick his nose out, do the 180 observation, and turn around, heading back to his bed, and the nanners. ;-) All is well this morning. Breffis consumed, clean plate club status twice over. The auto feeder went to the civvie Elsa - again.... :roll: When asked why he didn't partake of breffis #2 I got the "what?!? you wanted me to eat that?" look. So we re-fed. Silly boy! I had a laugh last night as we are getting ready to wind things up for the day - in pure Mannie fashion he chose the nanners, sleeping on top, covering all 6 with his body. :lol: :cool: One would think that that would be uncomfortable. Small price to pay I guess when nanner security and ownership are at stake. :cool:

Have a good day everyone! I am waiting on the tree dudes to come a remove a rather TALL fir tree, in preparation for a driveway replacement. Ought to be interesting to watch - this tree is huge..... :shock: :cool: :-D :-D

My friends!!! What is up today.... I think maybe we should check on Gracie's patch today, make sure all is well. I think them bad mens are almost done... and we need to party plan for some OTJ's coming up. Maybe get the dune buggys out too. Anybody in? ~~ Mannie

Good Morning, Michelle. Mr. Mannie looking good this AM. With the tree coming down today, do you expect that to show in his #s? Hope today is nicer, weatherwise.

Good morning Michelle and Mannie! I guess Mannie just wants to look more like his nanners than you would like himi to, huh. Can never guess when that action will come, but I certainly hope it's soon and it's nice!!

Morning Bev - It will be interesting to see how he reacts. I think he will be OK - noises outside don't usually bother him. :cool: : famous last words? And yes on the weather - very dark and gloomy right now, but no rains. I hope for the sake of the tree guys that it holds off... I can't imagine dealing with that in the pouring rain. perhaps they are sued to it...

Hmmm.....yellows for Mannie and Zoe....are they talking to each other??? Enjoy the day and watching the tree come down...hope it is uneventful!!! ;-)

Hey Mannie - glad your nanners are safe and well protected. I had 2 breffis, too.....I really love my breffis. Sorry it is rainy there in the PNW - It is 90 and sunny here. I slept by the pool yesterday. I'm ready to start planning parties....maybe a pool party as soon as everbody feels better? ~Zoe

Ooooh, tree removal is a big event around here. Noisy saws and even noisier chipper. Kitties hide most of the time.
The bean is nervous about losing precious shrubs, while tree guy is saying "not to worry, I won't let this huge tree fall on that beautiful Redbud" Famous last words......there goes half the Redbud, and the Weigela. *big sigh*

Oops,sorry Michelle, that wasn't very encouraging, was it? :roll:

I hope the noise doesn't bother the kitties. :smile:

Hi Michelle, Too bad you have to lose a large fir tree, but driveways are important, too. Mannie, of course, will supervise the operation. Hope your rain stops soon. We're supposed to have rain all week. There is a paddle scheduled for Thurs., so I'm keeping my fingers crossed; also a bike ride is scheduled for Friday, but it is alongside one of the rivers that always floods in the spring.

I wonder how many "oh, oh's" I will hear.... they always say don't worry until.... nah, guess i really didn't need that shrub. :shock: and the cars.... we moved them wayyyyyy down the street, and then you wonder how PO'd the neighbors will be when he street is tied up for the day. oh well! :razz: :razz: And I agree on the kitties. I think they will be OK - usually are when the noise is outside.... paws crossed!

Hi Ella - i so agree - I love that tree - it is gorgeous... but: it's roots are wrecking our driveway. No one can get onto it without bottoming out. so - it unfortunately has to go. bummer! sure hope the rains hold off - poor tree guys! -- and good luck there - I hope you can go paddle on TH, also the bike ride. paws crossed!

I hope Mannie comes down to some nice blues today. He just is not liking the feeder and wants Momma Bean waiting hand and foot on him!

WOW!! on the tree guys - quite the operation going on out there. :shock: and they are begin so careful. awesome!, no plant loss... so far. :cool: :-D :-D :-D Mannie could care less, nor BlackJack. Else is sooooo curious and watching it all from the window. :lol: :lol: and the rains have held off - lucky for them!

yes on the tree guys. Darn incredible! so far - very good!! I really hate loosing that tree :cry: .... but well, i need a usable driveway too. :razz: and yay on Mannie - one more floor -he's so close....

Hi Tena - me too on the tree thing. It went really well, they didn't damage any of the surrounding plants, and now I have a ton of firewood. :-D :cool: and thanks - he's had some great stuff going on lately. :-D

Hi Pat - Thanks! The day has been good, and I hope the night will be too. Looking forward to just hanging out without alot to do.... I hope Mannie will think along those lines too. It's been a good day for him - maybe not have found green, well he almost did, but still a great day! :razz:

thanks for stopping by to say hi to punkin & me - i thought of mannie earlier when punkin snuggled up to his nanner. he likes it for a pillow - I would think nanner mattresses would be lumpy!

mannie is looking sweet today - a nice daytime surf and letting you sleep at night!

Hi Julie - I know on those nanners - one would think that sleeping on top of the pile would be very lumpy. :shock: He doesn't seem to care... weird! The pillow thing though is his favorite, he does that one all the time. he will be thrilled to know that he has a cyber buddy who feels the same. :cool: :-D

Hi Christie - thx on the tree removal - me too. It is a huge relief as that tree very very very tall. They did a great job! and YAY: blues are back!

Willie!!! DUDE! I dunno.... I kinda lubs the cookouts on the beach at night ya know they are so cool! You wanna do that? maybe we coulds go and get Copper and treat him to a night at the beach and a cookout or sumthin'. what's you think? ~~ Mannie
