What a day it has been and so I'm very late posting. Sending healing vines to our ailing friends and hoping Roni got some good news today for Copper.

Gracie is in a hard bounce but she seems to feel fine. She's been sequestered in our bedroom most of the day with the other kitties while the granite installers have been here. She made herself a nice little nest in my bathing suits. She also got another chiropractic adjustment today which she enjoys. It's not bone cracking but very gentle. I am wondering if this dose is enough for her. It seems like her bounces are getting higher than theyve been in a while. So if she doesn't settle a little more into this dose and have a few more b2b cycles without such high bounces, I'll need to ask some opinions on raising her a skootch.

I have to take Teddi to the vet now. I'll check in later. Hope you all had a great day.

Hi guys - wow, you have a bouncy kitty. Gracie? Mannie give you one of his trampolines? Come on back down now - OK? She sure was in dive mode at pmps last night - quite the drop there.

I hope the granite went in OK, and that you like the results.

Hope Teddi has a good vet appt too. Paws crossed.

Gracie! What are you doing locked in the bedroom - the party is outside, poolside, by the catnip patch.... We are grillin' and everything! Tobey in there with you? ~~ Mannie

Tell Miss Gracie to put on some sunscreen when she lays out by the pool. Hope her bounce clears soon for ya.

Hi Marje, I'm a bit behind with condos, but I was wondering what's up with Gracie needing a chiropractic adjustment. I think it's amazing. I was just talking to someone in the pet store whose cat has acupuncture! I hope Teddis is okay and nothing serious.

Thoe pics of the two sunbathing kitties crack me up!

Hi ya'll and thanks for visiting. Gracie is still in this ridiculous bounce. We hope she breaks it tomorrow and comes back down. She is romping around playing with Tobey so I guess she feels fine.

Ann: the chiropractic vet comes for Gus and she just adjusts all the cats...rotates who gets what. She just did a quick session on Gracie last week but had the time to do a full one today. Cats, however limber they are, can also get themselves out of whack and the way Gracie and Tobey chase and wrestle and flip each other, it's no wonder.

Amidst all of this (AND the pool guys are still not done), I took Teddi to the vet. Bless her sweet little heart but she has had a reaction to the methimazole. When she was on it before, she did not. But this time, she is itching all over and has red areas where she's scratched herself. All the pukus has had lots of hair in it and the vet thinks Teddi has been overgrooming because of the itchiness. So she's off the methimazole for a few days; they did a complete workup with blood/urine and she's on an artificial thyroid supplement until she gets back to normal. I can't believe I didn't see it....too wrapped up in Gracie.

The granite installers did not leave until after 8 and then, regardless of their cleanup, I felt compelled to run my vac and mop. Then there was unloading the groceries from earlier today, and putting the kitchen back together. However, we have no water in the kitchen; the plumber comes tomorrow at 8am to hook all the water and gas back up. So it's like camping of sorts. The granite looks INCREDIBLE and the bathroom is stunning. I'll have to put pics in Loose Lips this weekend. I know this paragraph should have gone there but I'm too tired.

Hi guys! Wow - sounds like an incredibly busy day there. I am glad that all went well with the granite install - YAY! Best too that you like it. :-D bummer on the no water - but hey: camping is fun! and personally - i'm ok that the info was here, and not loose lips.

Poor Teddi - who would have think that. Well good that you have a different med now - hope that works out well. nice too on the chiro for Gracie.
