4/26 Curry PMPS~66

[Tena and Curry(GA)]

Curry is doing well. Interesting number tonight. Not a typical one.

Feuding Feline Digest: The girls are currently in the living room...Sid in her cube and Curry in the crate about 7 feet apart. I did try putting Curry in the harnass and she walked up to Sid. Sid of course hissed at her but didn't run. The Curry howled but didn't attack. Just wanted see what would happen. Now I know. They still need to become more comfortable when they are w/in a few feet of one another or one approaches the other.

Curry is meowing while in her crate which is in a different location than her usual crate spot. She's adjusting to her new spot. Her meowing reminds me of when I spotted her at the shelter 10 years ago....It was the same meow that caught my attention. She was the runt of the group and by far the loudest. And I loved all her spiciness then and now.

Have you tried using a High Value Treat?

I place Easy Cheese on my pinkie finger and thumb then let both cats like it off. I did the same with a saucer under the baby gate.

It can't be just regular treats, but something that is high value. For my guys it happens to be squeeze cheese?

Great idea. Thanks. I'll have to try that when they can tolerate being a little closer to one another. Right now their tolerance is max. of 5 feet. I could even try having something on one hand and something on the other hand....which would be about 5 feet....then slowly bring them closer. Then mommabean will look like she's meditating w/her arms in an open position. :lol: :lol: :lol:

:lol: :lol: I did the "open position" treat feeding with my boys when I was trying to get them to bond a little more. It worked! I called it "kitty treats in stereo". I'm glad to see you're making progress with Miss Spicy and Sid. :mrgreen: Beautiful PMPS too!
