Spot's numbers have been a tad on the higher than usual side, but not terrible. The highest he's gotten was 146 and the lowest has been 81. He may have a touch of what Ralph and Ali had/have because he also has some pudding poo. His appy is good....he will eat, but ONLY if I sprinkle some FD wildside salmon or FD chicken livers on top. Not sure if it's because he's feeling a little off or if he's just feeling persnickity.
Ralphie is feeling 97% better!!! He is back to eating just his wet food, no kibble enticer is needed. His poo is not hard, but it's formed. He is back to sleeping on the bed w/me and is more active.
Ali, well, she still isn't feeling to good. Had a re-check @ the vets yesterday because she is no eating. She was drinking water on her own, but she's not drinking enough. I am still syringe feeding her and am able to get 10 ml. into her before she begins to get real antsy. I feed her three times a day. Vet gave me so injectable famotadine and injectable metoclopramide. I also got some subQ's to give her every other day. I wanted to get some Nutra-cal for her, but they didn't have any, so I have to go to another pet store to get that. Couldn't get it last night because I had to get right home to give Spot his dinner shot. She did get her couriosity peaked last night when she saw a squirrel on the bedroom window sill....which brings me to a cute story...
Went outside on the front porch to get the mail. Heard a noise over by my bedroom window, looked, saw Spot laying on his wndow seat, just looking at a squirrel hanging out on the sill right outside the window. Spot really couldn't care less about the squirrel and visa versa. I got a few pictures of it, it's a youngster, smallish in size. Eventually Ralph saw something and decided he was going to check it out. He wasn't quite as calm as Spot was...he was trying to whap it through the screen, his tail was going a mile a minute. I decided that I needed to close the window a little bit, didn't want anyone to put a hole through the screen and let the little thing in the house. Ali was up on my bed and made her way over to the window seat also. She just sat there and watched it, but I was surprised that she actually did that. This thing slept on the window sill all night long and I finally had a little talk with it, telling him/her that it needed to go home and get some breakfast and stay with his/her family. Called mom a little bit ago and the squirrel is not there anymore.
Well, I hope everyone has a great day and thanks for stopping in our condo today to see how we are doing!
