What a crummy start to the week and I have a feeling it's my fault. Alex is Mr. GROWLY Pants at his worst. Last night when I got into bed really tired and ready for a good night's sleep no sooner did I turn off the light when I heard the sound of Alex's growl followed quickly by screeching and what was the beginning of a fight. He was waiting for Jackson to come in to the bedroom to start a fight with him. A real knock-down drag out fight, which I'm terrified of now because of Alex's heart. (I was told not to play with interactive toys and such but Jackson doesn't know that). Jackson got pissed off and didn't back down. I didn't know what to do but managed to separate them long enough for Alex to cool off. Alex's heart was beating a little fast but he quieted down. Jackson calmed down. I was shaking but they both fell asleep shortly after.
This morning Jacky was okay and Alex basically was but still pretty snarky. I noticed that I may have forgotten to give him half a thyroid pill yesterday and I'm wondering if that could do it (thyroid imbalance for such a short amount of time). I'm going to pick more tapezole up this morning and I'm going to ask the vet... but I know what answer I'm gonna get ..."Alex has so much going on, it could be anything"..I tend to disagree though and I hate when I'm given that kind of dumb answer because I tend to think it was more thyroid related than 'anything' related :0) He's supposed to have blood tests this week...I think I'll push it.
Other than that excitement...all p's are in order and Alex is taking his morning snooze (Jackson too) after a big breffis of FF chicken feast with chicken dust on top. YUMMERS!
Happy Monday Everyone!
