What a crummy start to the week and I have a feeling it's my fault. Alex is Mr. GROWLY Pants at his worst. Last night when I got into bed really tired and ready for a good night's sleep no sooner did I turn off the light when I heard the sound of Alex's growl followed quickly by screeching and what was the beginning of a fight. He was waiting for Jackson to come in to the bedroom to start a fight with him. A real knock-down drag out fight, which I'm terrified of now because of Alex's heart. (I was told not to play with interactive toys and such but Jackson doesn't know that). Jackson got pissed off and didn't back down. I didn't know what to do but managed to separate them long enough for Alex to cool off. Alex's heart was beating a little fast but he quieted down. Jackson calmed down. I was shaking but they both fell asleep shortly after.

This morning Jacky was okay and Alex basically was but still pretty snarky. I noticed that I may have forgotten to give him half a thyroid pill yesterday and I'm wondering if that could do it (thyroid imbalance for such a short amount of time). I'm going to pick more tapezole up this morning and I'm going to ask the vet... but I know what answer I'm gonna get ..."Alex has so much going on, it could be anything"..I tend to disagree though and I hate when I'm given that kind of dumb answer because I tend to think it was more thyroid related than 'anything' related :0) He's supposed to have blood tests this week...I think I'll push it.

Other than that excitement...all p's are in order and Alex is taking his morning snooze (Jackson too) after a big breffis of FF chicken feast with chicken dust on top. YUMMERS!

Happy Monday Everyone! :-D

Nothing like a good catfight to get woken up fast!! We hope that all will stay calm now. Stu is looking forward to the party and will bring a dish. Anything in particular you'd like him to cook, or can he decide?
Have a peaceful day!

Mr. Growly pants... aww. He's probably already forgotten that rumble last night and is Mr. Sweet pants today, right?

Re: 4/26 Alex AMPS 344

A true hissy fit!!!!!  I'm sorry, I know it wasn't funny at the time.

They probably think mom should get out of the house and stop staring at them. They are getting ready for their big party Wednesday, and they do not need mom telling them what to wear, what music to play, and all that.

I hope they find their "polite" p by the time you get home!

sigh.......

I'm almost certain it's because I forgot to give him his 2.5 mgs. Tapezole and I made a monkey of myself because when I asked Jaime he said "I don't think that would do it so fast but you never know" :o ...I put Alex in for his blood tests on Friday at 3:30 and I'll bother him about the Free T3 when I'm there.... :-D

They do keep me on my toes..that is for sure. Always have. When they were 6 months old even. I had a sunken bathtub with one of those sliding shower doors and there was about 6 inches between the ceiling and the top of the shower door. Jackson would jump from the floor to the sink to that little tiny space and walk on it...the whole length... like a tightrope even if I was in the bathtub. I was terrified nailbite_smile he would fall in the tub and break his neck when I wasn't home. Alex would watch him in awe..until he learned to do it also and then they would do it together and both scared the heck out of me

OMG, my Morgan does that with the shower railing! Scares the crap out of me when he jumps up there while I'm in the shower! Morgan is a total perv, though. I swear he is a dirty old man that's been reincarnated as a cat!
