Simon is well this morning, 4 out of 5 P's in place. He is a little confused because my civvie, Cleo, had to sleep in another room last night due to her cold. I am really hoping that Simon doesn't catch it so I'm trying to separate them as much as possible. Cleo is still sneezing but is eating well so hopefully, she will be better soon. Simon is on his 6th day of ear drops for his ear allergy and this medicine doesn't seem to be causing his bg to go too high. Glad I finally found something that he is not too sensitive to.

I am off from work today. I have an appointment with a specialist to see if I can get some help for the terrible daily headaches I am having. Hopefully, I will get some answers.

Thinking of all our LL kitties that are sick and praying that they will be better soon.

Wish you luck with the headaches I sure understand that since I have migraines and have had one every day for 2 weeks so draining hope your dr can help you I have seen many in the last 10 yrs and I am still fighting them

Great start for Simon and hope he stays well and does not catch the cold

morning guys! nice amps for simon. i am glad that you have finally found a med for him that doesn't affect his bg to badly. that is good news. I hope cleo is better soon. It is probably a good idea to keep them apart until she is better.

good luck with your appt today - I hope they can find some relief for you today to.

Hi guys .. what a nice start to the day for simon .. so glad his meds aren't causing his numbers to rise .. I hope cleo get's better soon too, and I hope your dr can figure out what to do about your headaches .. have a great day guys!

Beautiful number for Simon - and I hope he doesn't catch the cold! Good luck at the Dr and hope he will have some suggestions to help you with your headaches.

I might have spoken too soon about Simon's bg not going higher with the ear drops. This PMPS is a little higher than he is usually when he isn't on meds. It could be that he is also catching Cleo's cold. He isn't sneezing but he seems a little less energetic today and lying around alot. I was able to get the L-Lysine and put some in their food today. I am keeping them separated although I feel pretty bad about it. Cleo feels like she is in quarantine.

I am not sure about the person i went to see about the headaches. I thought that maybe it is because of my TMJ problems since I have pretty much exhausted anything else that it could be. I've done the whole MRI/cat scans, neurologist, pain specialist, chiropractor, acupuncture, etc. with no relief this time. The TMJ dentist says I need some special guard to wear in my mouth (not a regular mouth guard which I already have), but something I would have to wear for 12 weeks straight, day and night. Everything will cost $3500 which is way more than I can pay right now and my health insurance will not pick up any of it. I can't stand that our health insurance won't pay for anything that is alternative medicine or preventative medicine, but they will cover surgery which costs them so much more in the long run (sorry -- I had to ramble -- this should be in the loose lips condo!)

Anyway, enough about that -- hope everyone has a good evening and hugs and prayers to all our LL kitties that are not feeling well.
