Morning LL! Moonie is I guess bouncing from her 61 yesterday--That's fine. She wanted to come into bed with me for her usual 40-50 seconds :lol: --She is just sweet & I think she knows I'm down!

Copper is actually doing pretty well!! Eating lots, moving around easier, sleeping more peaceful & breathing
better! Just wanted him to be comfortable- He is not normal, but better than Saturday!
He still hasnt pooped which worries me, but I put a drop of miralax into his chicken this am..& I took the top off the LB maybe will help.
Our appt is tomorrow with oncologist--been reading up on it.
I dont want to be one of those condos that put a lump in your throat
everyday you read it because of bad news...Trying to be a little hopeful..

Morning Roni! Glad to hear Moonie is doing well! I think they sense when we're down and try extra hard to comfort us. Nice to hear Copper is doing as well as can be expected and hope the Miralax helps. Thinking positive thoughts and sending vines for you, Copper and Moonie, too, today and tomorrow. Hang in there and hug.

You mean mirilax and not lactulose right? Mirilax won't work on the poop already in his system though. How many days has it been since he did?

I realize that Moonie and Copper were diagnosed at the same time. How come you don't start a condo on Copper like Pat does for Raj and Shadow? I may have missed something I only joined last November or so.

Moonie is barely yellow and will be down to the cool colors in a flash.

I'm very glad that Copper is feeling better. That is what is most important for Copper today. ((((Roni))))

Good morning. Very low sunny yellow is a nice place to start.

Look at Moonie go today - wow on that +3! I see greens coming.... What a nice recovery from her bounce. Good job Moonie!

Nice report for Copper. I am glad that he is feeling better today. A good for you on reading up on things - it will help you tomorrow. Mannie and I send positive thoughts!!

Moonie is just doing good, which helps! Glad to see blue, maybe green again today?

Karrie- Copper doesnt have FD--never did. That's why no condo..

Been searching internet have a list of questions for oncologist--people have helped me compile this list.
I'm somewhat OK for whatever comes..He's here, I'm happy-HUgs

I agree, blue seems to agree with Moonie although i think Green would be much more fitting :smile:
So glad that Copper is having a better time today other than the LB problem. Tommy and I wish you much luck
with tomorrow, whatever may happen. Like you and the others said, He is here with you know, and that's a big time warm fuzzy :razz:

Stopping back to check on you guys....glad Moonie came down a bit but I hope she will keep the deep drama for another day. Hear that Moonie? Nice blues and high greens if you must...okay? That'd be perfect...
a List of questions is a great idea...it will help keep focus tomorrow....I am glad you have people helping you with this too....

Moonie came down to green for which I am very Thankful
Vet office called, and said Copper's cancer is Sarcoma, which sounds really bad, but that oncologist will discuss our options tomorrow--I didnt ask much more--We will see what we can do for him...

Roni, we will be thinking positive thoughts for tomorrow's visit with the oncologist. Don't let the details overwhelm you as you do your reading. Just focus on Copper, for we all know that ECID, and some treatment might just work for him.

By the way, is his name, his color? Do you have a photo of him somewhere, that I don't know about? FB maybe?

I'm sorry, Roni. It sounds like you have a good attitude and are ready to face whatever comes, just like you faced Moonie's diabetes head-on. You're such a good mamabean and Copper knows it.

So sorry for the diagnosis, Roni. ((hugs)) Thoughts, prayers and positive energy for continued strength for you as you deal with Copper's new reality as well as for a clear direction and action plan from the oncologist tomorrow. Cancer does indeed suck. As always, hugs aplenty coming from Willie and I... ((hug)) You are doing such an amazing job working to be the best possible advocate you can be for Copper.

Moonie is doing nicely today--A ray of snshine bursting through--She wishes I would lay on our bed with her & scratch her behind her ears all day!! Maybe I will for part of tomorrow...



Thanks for the support--I am not so strong all day today--asked my dr for some valium to get through this so he sent me 15, which I will probably have till 2 yrs from now, but I think I may need it for tomorrow.

been keeping you all in my prayers....yes...cancer sucks...no matter where it is....but you will have all those questions ready for the oncologist tomorrow and you will know then what to do to keep Copper as comfortable as possible....he is STILL here with you....enjoy them both!

Moonie is in her fav numbers, but she seems to know something is very wrong...
She is sitting near the water bowl, they both seem to like it there, but she is aware of something.
Copper didnt eat as well tonite & is moving very slowly tonite--Ate 8 temptations, few bites of FF, some small pieces of steak--
What type of Gerber baby food does everyone use?? I bought the gerber chichken & chick gravy & Turkey & turkey gravy--Will that work?? I may try it tomorrow--I feel so ill, stomach feels terrible, guess I am afraid.

Morning Roni...those two flavors are the exact ones I bought for Shadow. My two normally don't like the baby food at all, but when you add some warm water, the consistency is good for sryinging. Shadow accepted the baby food that way the other day. (I actually took some Friskies mixed grill and added water, used that water to mix with the baby food..I figured there were nutrients in the regular cat food that would be good to have on board too)

Thinking of you this morning. Try to remember to take a deep breath every once in awhile today. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Shallow breathing comes when we are nervous and excited but we do need the deep breaths in times of stress. It really helps to calm you if you remember to take a deep one every once in awhile.
