Glad to see that mooch has come down into the yellow zone again. Go Moochie!

On the food front, he ate some but not much of the Wellness Core pate food but I also made some into cat food soup (cat food plus hot water to make a soupy consistency) which he preferred over just the plain food. This morning I made more cat food soup with some Wellness turkey & salmon and he's eating that too do this could be the way forward for Mooch. I had a cat with thyroid cancer who had to eat liquidised food and she loved it so I though I'd give it a go with Mooch.

Unfortunately I heard back from Trader Joes and their foods are fairly high carb at 13-15%

Hi guys .. yay for low yellows! Glad you found a way to serve up the fuds that mooch approves of .. sorry to hear about the high carb content though .. hope you guys have a great day!

Moch seems to be over his kibble-geddon hangover/rebound.

Tonight I'm trying one of the Merricks foods out of the selection I got and Mooch seems to like it. He ate ~50g of the Wellness in soup form from this morning

I spoke too soon. After lapping up a bit of the Merricks juice hd ignored the food. Also wouldn't touch EVO beef wet. Now trying a different Wellness as I don't have any more of the one he ate some of this morning. If he doesn't eat some soon I'll have to crack and give a small amount of EVO kibble

are you using the regular evo kibble or the kitten version? i *think* the kitten version is 8% - you might look on Binky's list and see about the difference between those two evo dry foods.

It's the EVO cat and kitten 8% carb one. Mooch hasn't eaten any wet food this evening and hios blood glucose is now at 46 so I've given him some of the EVO kibble so he'll be ok overnight. He started eating that straight away

the dry food takes longer to work - if i were you and mooch will eat a little gravy, i'd give a teaspoon or so, or a drop of karo syrup and recheck in 20ish minutes to make sure he's up above 50.
