Morning everyone! Wow, I don't know what is going on with Maggie Mae and her numbers!! I feel guilty feeling bummed out, as there are so many sick kitties lately, and I should be glad Maggie is doing so well, which I am grateful. I know this isn't that high and some would love to have this blue, but it's high for Maggie! I even tested with my back-up human meter to make sure this ATrak number was correct. Interesting, the Relion Micro tested at 183 bg, only a 14 point difference. The higher the number, the less difference between the two meters. Otherwise, Mags is doing great with all P's. She just asked to be brushed and now is ignoring her food!
I wonder if I'm not getting enough scruff for the shot and the drop isn't getting in far enough. I gather the scruff with my left hand and use my right hand to shoot. My left shoulder/upper arm are both the problem/painful areas and why I am having pt to get more range of motion back, so I wonder if I'm just not doing something right and gathering a thick enough scruff!! Of course, she's a cat and this may just be the sugar dance thingy, too. confused_cat One thing I just noticed with giving the drop dose as I was practicing just now! When I get a drop, it gets sucked back up into the syringe, so I'm thinking this is what happens when I shoot. I'd welcome any advice from those doing microdosing. Thanks much.
