Good Morning LL,

Ok bounce you can bounce off at anytime now :evil: :evil: :roll: :lol: I set an alarm for +8.5 last night and dragged my lazy bones outta bed to test Leo, he was all to happy to wake up for treats. He did dip down to 157 last night but then i woke up to this lovely pink number :roll:

I've been having trouble lately with a backing up water main, i called a plumber yesterday and he came over and quoted me a ridiculous price to fix it, then told me the City would come over and do it for free. So the city called me this morning, came over and told me my bed was in the way of the main drain and left. When we got to the door i realized it was open and Leo was no where to be found.....ARRRRGHHHHHHH!!! These 2 nice city workers helped me search all around the house and up and down the street. I ran back inside and called his name, no answer, then i resorted to my old trick.....i cracked open a can of kitty fud and sure enough Leo came running out from underneath my bed!!! :lol: That trick has worked like a charm since Leo was just a baby. So i completely took my bed apart and am waiting for these guys to come back and fix up my drain so my water isn't backing up anymore and i can shower!!! I just hope Leo doesn't freak out when they come back.

poor leo, didn't like having strangers in his house! Yuck on the pink again, but I wouldn't look for much better until the workers have come and gone for good.

Hi guys .. yeah bounce, be gone!! That's great that you can get your water leak fixed for free, nothing better then that! Just hope leo doesn't get to freaked out again .. hope you guys have a great day!

Leo, you need to tell Mr L to chilllllll outttttt. Yuck on the bounce. Bummer that they have to come back but at least it is free. I hope they get it fixed quick. Water issues are a pain in the butt. Poor Leo, hiding under the bed. That is the first place Tarragon goes.

What a story! I hope they come back soon to fix the problem. No fun with water backing up. And Leo is one smart kitty: he knew where the problem was (under the bed) and just wanted to make sure the workmen knew, too!

That's a better +6 Leo. Keep coming down!

Well the city workers were here and gone, Leo was shaking he was so scared.....poor baby. They had some pretty heavy duty equipment they were hauling with them that made a lot of noise, i finally got him over to see what they were up to and once he saw them he calmed down and chilled out on the couch. The city guys told me "OMG Tracy that's a fat cat! He needs to lose weight otherwise he'll become a diabetic!" :lol: We all had a pretty good laugh when i told them that he was a diabetic. They were nice guys and liked Leo, one of them even asked me out on a date, but i'm not too sure so we shall see.

Leo and I had a big nap after the whole ordeal and he stayed curled up beside me for a 3 hour nap......what a sweetheart cat_pet_icon
 
Tracy, glad you got the water problem fixed. It sounds like if Leo chilled on the couch that he was approving of the guy asking you for a date, right! :-D And his numbers are coming down from this morning, too. Leo is a sweetheart! Have a great night!
 
Poor Leo...what a rough day! I'm glad he was finally able to chill. I hate having work done in the house for that reason: it freaks the kitties out, and I hate seeing my kitties scared.

I hope Mr L starts chillin' soon, too!!

Oh good, coming down. Those workers can be so scary! We had workers around here today too, taking down a tree, very noisy.
 
Tracy I wanted to just drop in for a quick hi and check on that sweet little face of Leo's, before I sign off, but I had no idea your condo would read like a soap opera! Wow, what a day. So you'll have to let us know if you go on that date. Sounds like Leo approved, and I loved Leo's skills in finding the problem under the bed. I was scared though, thinking he got out! Wow, like I said, what a day!!! nailbite_smile :o :lol:
