I started a new Lantus pen this morning. I hope its the old insulin that caused that amps. We'll find out a little later today.

WCR: Blackie is sleeping now on the dog bed. He was feeling good last night. He was outside a lot and before bed he went for a walk with me & DH & the droolers. Of course he had to stop at his catnip.

I hope everyone enjoys their Sunday. We have lots of chores planned after brefis, but I'll still check into some condos later.

If your new pen works the way mine did, I hope you have lots of strips (see last night's action in my condo from yesterday)!

I am glad Blackie got to visit his catnip. I love the picture in my head of you guys all walking along like a merry little roving band; dogs, cat, and humans. So cute. :mrgreen: Buzz wants to remind Blackie that if he goes lower, he will get treats and extra food. She's failing to mention the extra pokes, but maybe food makes it all worth while.

I think I waited a day too long to switch pens and now he's having to fill his shed again. I hope I learned my lesson on this one. I haven't tested since that +3. We'll see what tonight will bring.

I always wonder about the pens, too. I guess we have to trust that they are consistent in their manufacture. What we do with them after we get them is another matter! Here's hoping for some lower numbers for Blackie!
