Partner shot Alice 15 minutes earlier this morning. Very frustrated.
(We already moved her up the cycle before, and this now exceeds the 30 minute move per day a little.)

She was also subsequently 15 min short on getting a full 2 hour fasting before AMPS.

AMPS is 201

She was shot 4u (successful, cycle 2 again)

Fed 2.5oz 4% friskies....

I have to leave the house to work around her possible nadir period. Will appreciate thoughts after +2. :)

+2 is HI then immediate retest at 491 (freestyle lite maxes out at 500).

Sigh.

Test recs for the rest of the day please?

I have to pre-set test alarms and be very specific on instructions in order to still leave and do some work today. Furbabies gotta eat!
 
As it turns out, it wasn’t a problem shooting earlier. Darn bounces! Or maybe not? It’s getting really hard to know what to say with no recent data in the spreadsheet.

I think you could get one mid cycle test somewhere, and that would be enough. Or alternatively, a +8 to +10 so you can tell if she’s coming down into PMPS.

It's getting hard for me too! I dont have access to the majority of my notes and numbers. Arg! It hopefully will all be resolved by this weekend.

I dont get a lot of +8s so that sounds good. Thanks!
 
Alice's appetite was high all day and she clearly drank a lot of water.

BGL ran HI (>500) all day.

But now that I am home and she's just had PM everything, she doesn't seem like she has her usual appetite. With recent DKA it just scares me. She got more interested when I offered her a single purina DM kibble.

Haven't been able to check ketones again today. Weight fluctuations are between 2.46kg and 2.33kg (AM and PM, respectively). Probably a food/water weight difference.
 
+4 is 243.

Sailing for the night? I'm going to have to take medicine if I want to sleep tonight. Safe to just feed more and not test again for possible late nadir?

Both disposition and appetite are much improved since PMPS # dropped, and her polydypsia has decreased some. Yay cat.
