Argh. Well, I can effectively say the old juice wasn't toast, just as I thought. I've never had insulin go bad, and any time I've tried new juice, it hasn't made a difference, including this time (and fortunately I still have that pen - there's probably a week's worth left in it).

I am going to switch around the fuds plan, though. A few weeks ago, I thought Paw Lickin's was driving her numbers up, but until today she was mostly eating BFF Chuckles or Friskies with very little Paw Lickin's. On her Friskies days, her numbers were slightly better...so I guess maybe it is the Chuckles that's contributing to these numbers???? I dunno...but I'm giving a fuds reversal a trial...giving her primarily Paw Lickin's and Friskieswith just a little BFF. And she LUVS it...while she likes Chuckles, Paw Lickin's is definitely preferred. So, we'll see. I soooooo miss my well-regulated Fancy Feast Trixie!

Hi Amy, nice slide down to blue for Trixie. I was thinking back, and Mags was eating the Chuckles when fresh out of the can and not the rest of the day, so hard to tell with a spike. The Paw Lickins didn't spike her, but the Friskies special diet did, for some reason. Usually our girls are alike sometimes with their fuds spikes. I hit TJs on Monday (always a good time!), so today I'm sticking close to home.

Looking back at Trix's SS, she seemed to have better cycles on Paw Lickin. I can't remember what made me think it was spiking her more than Chuckles was. For now, this is yet another fuds experiment....but admittedly, my patience pants are wearing very thin at this point!

This fuds stuff is so confusing. I don't have enough time with one food to see if it spikes.
Checks loves everything, one time :YMSIGH: He's refusing Paw Likins, even smooshed up,in the chopper. He was wild about it the first day. 22 cans to go :lol:

Miss Trixie is coming down beautifully, I hope she finds a nice green number to surf the day away.

Hi Amy! to me, it seems that maybe Trixie is just being a cat? Sometimes I think they delight in keeping us bonkers and guessing.... Maybe if you tell Trixie that if your patience pants wear threadbare, the cost of a new pair is coming out of her piggy bank!! kids!!!!!

what u doing to your bean trix, she is so good to u so how about showing her some green love tomorrow.

very exciting news on the food front have found a place that does vegan degustation - 10 courses! I'm going for my birthday in a couple of weeks time. I will report...
