Yesterday's Condo

My cellphone alarm went haywire and I didn't get the lowest numbers I presume, in the cycle last night. %#@*& Stuff happens I guess. But I try to be so careful when setting the alarms and I am shocked when they don't go off when I want them to....He was the same reading @+4 and +5, strange. Off to a hungry start today with both of them inhaling the mini meal I gave them for breffis. Shadow is his usual sweet purring self today and both of them are staring out of the screen door.

Hi Pat,

Nice to see that Shadow is doing well. Sometimes Sara comes up with the same #'s. I feel like I should play them in the lottery or something. :-D

Max is so bugging me when he can leave for the party.
He is so excited that he has not left the window this morning checking out the

Those *&^%$#@! Alarms... uggh.. hate it when they screw up.. or I screw up :roll: but it does have a way of working out in the end.

Hey Pat - I forgot to set my alarm this AM & fortunately my eyes blinked open @ 5:28 AM. I walked into the kitchen where the contingency was lined-up patiently waiting. I like the term "Caterday" 'cuz it is a good day for CatNaps" !

Those blues do looks pretty, keep up the good work Shadow! If I am reading your SS correctly, you got 3 hours of sleep last night? How do you do that, CatNaps??

Did I hear party? Well Spooky would love to be there but we have a problem....he has discovered french fries (goes nuts whenever I have them and steals right off the table!) he wants to bring fries to the party and I can't convince him it's not appropriate. I have never seen such a junk-food junkie took forever to get him off dry food and now he will eat anything but prefferss cake, cookies, french fries etc. over a peice of meat. I'm thinking he is a mutant species perhaps evolving from the effects of dry food?

I swear the cats sneak into out phones and turn those alarms off! I've had the same thing happen a couple of times. It's the only explanation.

Party for No Reason is going to be fun...it's is kinda spontaneous and I think we (and THEY) all need a little break in the seriousness of life, no? So, come one ~ Come ALL...four legs and a tail will getcha in! (if you are of the feline persuasion, that is...sorry no droolers! And of course, diabetic ferrets are welcome too! ;-) )

No decorations to put up, the kitties are sitting by the door looking and waiting for their buddies...they didn't even want to put around chairs or tables....we just have the bar for Bear Man all set and the thrones for Logan and Latte...everyone else will have to recline on the blankets on the grass....real casual party! Not like any they have ever had that's for sure!! LOL They want to go down to watch the sun setting at the beach and of course they will all be dancing...practice for Caryl & Alex's party on Wednesday...that will be the fll_moon Full Moon Part5y!

Ok Jerry and Nova are on the way.. Hitch wants to come really bad but he's got to stay home because of his eye :(.. with the other two out of the house maybe I can sneak him some of those evil temptation cookies..

I know, he literally goes nuts when the french fries come out. 2 days ago I was sitting on the couch eating and Spooky was sitting on the coffee table in front of me, he slowly creeps onto my legs with his front feet and is casually going for the bowl (I can't eat anything without having him in my face) I push him back and he pushes forward. I feel terrible because I have whacked him on the head to get him away and he doesn't even care he puts his ears down and contines to force his head towards the plate. I was holding my hand over the bowl shielding it and like a flash he grabbed a fry and jumped to the floor went under the table and ate it! Then he come back to try it again :roll: At lunch I was eating at the computer and he was in my face the whole time. I'm going to have to start locking him in the bathroom during meals I think, I could never have company with a cat on the table :oops: He has started biting as well when I give him treats or have something in my hand he will snap at it and ofen gets my fingers OUCH!

Another strange thing is he sleeps on the back of the couch evenings while I watch TV and he snores. The other night he snorted really loud and woke himself up, and startled me :o It was so loud I couldn't belive it, he stood up changed position and went back to sleep then started snoring again. I'm certain it's not purring (Spooky doesn't purr at all) he has always "rattled a little when breathing) I think he has some sort of apnea or a nasal deformity (polyps?), that could also explain his panting when he gets excited or runs around when playing.

Still in the yellows....wonder what tonight will bring. If he is staying in yellows for the next cycle, do I increase in the morning? This is the 4th day on 1.50u Lev. I was hoping for the nicer surf in green....and at this point, I'd even take a nice cruising blue...but this yellow is blinding on the SS.
Quite a few kitties are already here....hanging out on the dock....laughing. They are all so much fun!

Hi guys! Scrabble is excited for the party tonight!!! He is not bringing his lady Sabrina so he might be scoping out some chics at the party! Boy we have had a lot of parties going on lately huh? Nice day for Shadow, Scrabble likes to throw me the same # a lot too, I like Nicole always think maybe I need to play the lottery or something! LOL! See ya tonight!!!

A nice blue start for Shadow..then off he went to yellow....I know you may be happy with those numbers, but I was hoping that Shadow would continue with his blue streak. Maybe the party will help.

Spot said that he would really appreciate a spot on the grass since he so enjoys being outside. If there is a chair that he could lounge in ON the grass, he would really appreciate that. He is wondering if Ms. Moonie would like to snuggle with him...you know, he really is smitten with her. He used to be smitten with Ms. Maui, but he figured out that all she wanted was a pool/cabana boy and he's really looking for more than that, lol!

Kitty asked me to drop off some music for the party, as he plans to swiiing out tonight! If everyone else likes the music, he'll put together a playlist for Wednesday's full moon party at Caryl & Alex's!

Teddy was so excited about being asked to the party tonight! He and Bear Man have already left on the early moonbeam. I told them that I am leaving for tbp at 5 a.m., and that I want them home by then. Bear is to keep an eye on his brother, and Teddy is to mind his manners.

I told Teddy that he could have some chips if they were offered ...



... but that he is not allowed to eat them out of the bag:



Bear is excited to see his old buddy Max again, and to hear about life at the falls. Thanks, Pat, for hosting this Party For No Reason. Teddy is getting antsy about his birthday party, and needs to blow off a little steam.
 
:lol: They are loving the music Kathy! All the kitties are laughing and dancing and having a wonderful time!!! I am getting those stern looks from Raja so I will have to go hide in my spot so I can watch over them all without being seen. No worries...they are all having a great time!

When I looked down and saw the alarm, I had to laugh. Then, I thought of you all and how I complained about the cellphone alarm. I should be complaining about the fool behind the buttons! :lol:
 
LOVE the pictures Linda!! How CUTE!!! Teddy is always such a gentleman whenever I have seen him....they are both wonderful. Bear Man is at the bar as usual...telling tall tales to all the guys.

We had the birthday cake for Teddy and everyone sang to him....and then, they had to sing it all over again cause they loved seeing him so happy....This is so great that everyone came by for No Reason and they are now all falling over from laughing their heads off~~for No Reason! WE can all be very proud of our furbabies.

Sara is a little late but she has claimed a spot on the grass. Loves sitting outside. She can't wait to talk to all her friends and dance the night away. She has even been taking cha cha lessons. :-D

Sara is giving CHA-CHA lessons to ALL the kitties now....LOL! Most of the boys are falling on the floor laughing though...except for Spot who is trying his best to impress Moonie in the purple dress. They got the hang of it and are having a great time! Jerry is being the dancing instructor's partner while Nova and Moses are learning some advanced steps! I have to go hide or they will kill me..... :roll:

Hi Pat, Raja & Shad-0! Stu is a little late coming to the party because of his 6-hour road trip earlier today, but he should be there by now. He's sorry he can't cook anything tonight--didn't have time to get together the ingredients! But he said he was going to pick up a chicken pizza with tuna crust somewhere in Florida. Anyway, he'd love a spot on the grass so he can munch to his heart's content while he hangs out with his pals and all the lovely lady kitties. Raja, Moonie, Nova, Gabby, Baby, and all you gals: watch out!! (But he's the perfect gentleman with Latte.)

Well, if Stu is up there, i think Shadow should be joining him in the morning. We are having an impromptu party so no fussing with cooking for Stu tonight....he is here and talking with Bear Man and Teddy at the bar...they want to know all about his trip. Tugger and Kitty and Scrabble are all around the bar listening to the story too....everyone loves Stu's stories... :lol:
 
I hope Putty made it there ok.....he was a little upset that we were out most of the day and he is not allowed to leave the house until we get home.
I hope everyone is behaving at the party. I wish I were at a party myself. :roll:
 
Looks like Tess will be the late arrival again, but it's a long trip for a west coast kitty. She'd love a cool spot on the grass to rest up, but then, CHA CHA!!

Pat, I don't have any dose input! Maybe someone who knows something will come to the party. I hope you're able to figure it out, but with all that partying going on, I can't imagine how you can think!
